“Because it would be fun and Edmund clearly wants to go on an adventure. What are they going to do to him? Put him in jail? He’s a turtle,” Juneau pointed out. But they might put Juneau and Ingrid in jail for setting the tortoise free to the peril of unsuspecting civilians. Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea–neither of them probably wanted to see the inside of a cell again quite so soon. Juneau stared at Ingrid for a moment wondering what it was about the scrawny looking Vuldak that would ever suggest she expected a red carpet be rolled out or a tea service provided. “Can’t say I really expected anything,” Juneau responded.
"Fun? He's been on enough fun trips; he helped slay a blighted dragon that's enough for anyone. he might look innocent and slow now, but he's like a whippet when he wants to be." Ingrid could probably get them out of any trouble Edmund would cause with her station, but it would cost her public opinion. "Perfect, kick your boots off there, don't want you dragging whatever you've brought in on those boots of yours." It would be apparent to Juneau that there wasn't any staff around, like one would expect in a noble's home. The cold stone floor was only carpeted in the middle of the walkway as Ingrid walked further into the home. "Make yourself at home. Don't touch the parchment," she instructed as she got them a pitcher of water.
