After setting up a rudimentary website for CARP, the satirical, but still real company was offered a $15 million package of medical debt for $60,000.

Oliver explained that the debt was out of statute, which means it is the kind of debt that a collector can only continue to collect, but not sue the debtor for.

RIP Medical Debt is a charity (and therefore takes donations). They buy the rights to medical debt and then forgive them. So far they’ve forgiven over 1B in medical debt.

we use our own unique grading system that is based on real measurements from over 2000 of our customers and actually accounts for things like apron bellies, the vertical space taken up by tits and stomachs, and thicker necks, biceps, and thighs

the factory we work with is also certified for their ethical labor practices and responsible textile production, and they are certified up the entire supply chain, which is incredibly difficult and expensive to do. that means that everything from the sourcing of the materials, to the creation of the fabric, the dyes and printing processes we use, and the fixings we use (like elastic, buttons, zippers, etc) are all covered. you can read more about that here:

yes hi i wanted to touch on that real quick—we price ourselves as affordably as we are feasibly able to so we have significantly lower margins than most other clothes brands, even other small artist brands.

we basically price our clothes at a wholesale margin because i strongly believe that everyone, regardless of size, deserves comfortable, cute clothing that is made to last and made ethically.
