And wow I've never cried on any of SJ Maas' first book in the series. She really packed a punch on this one.

My favorite parts/things are:

Danika and Bryce's friendship

Bryce and Hunt just taking pictures of each other

Mentions of alphaholes

Tharion, the flirt incarnate

QUEEN HYPAXIA, i love her no nonsense

Bryce fucking vaccuming what a power move

Ruhn crushing (lol) on Hypaxia (dont ruin this for me, though i find Tharion cute as well)

Ember calling her the Autumn King an asshole thru phone

When I knew what blinded the oracle

Lehabah and Syrinx

Bryce's drop (I UGLY CRY ALRIGHT)

Light it up. (The last pages has me sobbing im tired heaps of tissue used)

Surprisingly, this was tame for an adult book. Or was it just me? Though, Maas lets Bryce say all the fucks Aelin didn't get to do it's funny.

I thought this wasn't going to be a Chaol pt 2 but then it was for a moment and it's fucking not and I'm still holding my breath. Based on previous books, I should be wary but hey, that was a satisfying ending. I honestly thought it'd be a stand alone.

Bryce is STARBORN and Hunt’s full-name is Orion (a fUCKING STAR)

Everything I can remember so far, I am on my phone so apologies for dodgy formatting!

*She talked about the power of mums/moms and motherly love.

*The saddest day of her life was her 16th birthday because no magical powers manifested.

*She talked about Sailor Moon, Buffy and Chicago (the musical) as inspirations.

*She told us the story of hearing the last line to KoA while travelling in Monte Verde Cloud Forest.

*She didn’t want to tell anyone so when her in laws noticed her crying she said she was inspired by nature or something.

*She said save the planet! There was a toad called the golden toad in the cloud forest, and it’s been extinct due to global warming since the mid nineties. She joked about being the voice of the golden toad.

*Crescent City: 2000 years in the future, with magical creatures. One of the fan questions was if she will ever write a mermaid book, and she said there were mermaid equivalents living in underground waterways in CC.

*Josh and Taran made an appearance! Taransat in her lap for a while and pulled her hair. After a while she had to call Josh to take him back. “Josh! Josh? Joshua??”

*“Look at your tiny toes. They look like little loaves of bread.” (To Taran obviously!)

*Which male would she choose? Well Rhysand (she had to fan herself) because he’s perfect in every way. But if Rhys was off the table…. Cassian! She said he’d learn to do her hair so he could blow dry it before her events, but he also wouldn’t mind her taking ages to get ready because he’d just chill and watch football on TV.

*2 ACOTAR novellas and 3 full length novels are sold to the publisher. The novels each focus on a different romantic pairing.

*She talked about a really young girl in wingspan themed shirt. The girl’s mum didn’t know what it was about of course. And she followed up with another comment on how Rhys is perfect in (((every))) way…

*ACOMAF is really precious to her and she reread it lately, ending up all hopeful that Feysand would hook up even though she wrote the book and knew that they would!

*Her favourite Greek goddess is Artemis.

She’s in the middle of edits now for ACOTAR 4 (will be published in 2021!)

Sarah sent in a potential title to her editor that they both liked, but haven’t heard back from the publisher yet

Maybe it’s the chosen title!

Nesta and Cassian have a lot of sexy times in the book

Sarah said her editor told her to cut out the unnecessary sex scenes 

But she already did cut out a lot before sending the book in!

ACOTAR 4 is an ADULT book!

Probably deals with heavy topics, so that’s a reason why for the ACOTAR 1-3 and novella re-binding and book cover changes

So beware, it is NOT YA! 

The new bindups for ACOTAR is releasing June 5th, 2020 

There will be some sort of virtual signing for these books, maybe some sort of gift incentive (still being worked on)

Some CC book #2 updates:

After Sarah sends in the edits of ACOTAR 4, she will focus on drafting CC book #2! 

Potentially will be exploring other cities other than Lunathion 

Don’t know when it will be published

I’m so excited to hear more news! Also, Sarah and Josh (her husband) are hilarious and I love her even more. She shares some personal struggles she’s working on now and other things we haven’t heard of before of her personal life (i.e. parenting).
