I still love Harry Potter. Yes, JK Rowling has said stupid things, there are inconsistencies in the world, they lack diversity, the spin offs are meh. But I think that we need to remember what made us love this series in the first place. Narratively they are complex and fairly clever and the characters are flawed and interesting. They revolutionised fiction and defined my childhood and teen years. I love Harry Potter and I always will. The bits you don’t like are what fanfic/headcannon are for.
