Adam and Eve Summary:

God creates Adam and places him in the Garden of Eden. Later, He creates Eve from one of Adam’s ribs to be his companion. They are free to enjoy everything in the garden except the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Tempted by the serpent, Eve eats the forbidden fruit (usually interpreted as an apple) and gives some to Adam. Their disobedience opens their eyes to good and evil, and as a consequence, God expels them from Eden, forcing them to live in a harsher world that we now call Earth.

Ribs Symbolism:

For the longest period of time, the rib design bugged me so badly because it clearly resembled something, but I couldn't pinpoint what it could be—until it clicked.

In Genesis, God takes a rib from Adam and forms Eve—someone who is, in Adam’s own words, “bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.” She is created from him, yet becomes her own being.

Now let's apply that same framework to Satan's lore. Satan isn’t just Lucifer’s younger brother. He’s born out of Lucifer’s Wrath. And as some fans have theorized, he's born out of Lucifer's torn wings. In a way, he’s the same kind of “flesh of my flesh” creation—a being formed from a piece of Lucifer’s very self.

The ribs design choice is a nod to Adam and Eve—just like how Eve is created out of Adam in the same way Satan is created out of Lucifer.

Satan's boa:

This is another design choice in Satan's demonic outfit that bugged me for quite a while...

The odd boa wrapped around his shoulder carries its own symbolism. Boas are literally named after the boa constrictor snake, which could reference the serpent from Genesis that tempts Eve. The way the boa coils around his shoulder mirrors how the serpent “wrapped” itself around Eve and tempt her.

Their punishment:

Adam and Eve are expelled from the Garden of Eden after Eve eats the forbidden fruit, forcing both of them to descend into the harsher world of Earth as a consequence.

Lucifer’s wrath—which later becomes Satan—becomes the catalyst for their fall. That uncontrollable emotion takes over, and the result is their shared expulsion from the Celestial Realm.

Just like Adam and Eve, Lucifer and his manifested sin descend together, but instead of Earth, they fall into the Devildom.

Their favorite foods:

Lucifer’s favorite fruit is the apple, while Satan’s favorite food is apple pie.

Lucifer liking apples makes perfect sense because he’s the original sin. He’s the first spark, the forbidden desire, the defiance, the sin that wasn’t supposed to exist.

1. Lord of Corruption (Lucifer)

At first glance, "corruption" seems like it'd belong to someone else—maybe Greed or Lust. But the more I think about it, the more it fits Lucifer perfectly.

Lucifer wasn't just any angel; he was THE angel that everyone looked up to. A seraph, The Morning Star, the one closest to perfection... and also the very reason for the Celestial War.

That’s the paradox that makes him so interesting: the being nearest to the divine becomes the origin of its downfall. His pride twisted what was once pure (love, loyalty, conviction) into self-destruction. “Corruption” fits because Lucifer is the reminder that even the noblest ideals—justice, order, righteousness—can rot from the inside when you become convinced that your version of perfection is the only truth.

2. Lord of Fools (Mammon)

Greed blinds, binds, and devours the people who chase it. In every world (human or celestial) those swallowed by the desire for wealth turn into fools, caught in an endless loop of wanting, chasing, losing, and wanting again.

And Mammon, the embodiment of Greed, sits right in the middle of that web. He knows better than anyone how empty it all is, how the chase never ends, how the satisfaction never comes.

And yet, like a fool with a golden crown, he’s trapped in it too.

3. Lord of Shadows (Leviathan)

His title works on multiple levels, and that’s what makes it so good.

On a mythic level, it ties straight back to his identity as the Leviathan—a sea serpent born from the deepest, darkest waters. The ocean is literally called the “realm of shadows,” so the title becomes a crown of darkness, marking his dominion over that vast, lightless abyss.

But on a psychological level, it mirrors his personality. He’s reclusive, isolated, a shut-in who lives in darkness both physically and emotionally. The shadows could also represent his insecurities, his envy, the parts of himself he's ashamed of.

4. Lord of Masks (Satan)

This one is my favorite.

Satan wasn’t born from peace or love—he was born from Lucifer’s pure, unfiltered rage, and that origin stains everything he is. It leaves him constantly wondering where he begins and where Lucifer ends.

Despite being born from pure Wrath, he's the one with the most control over his sin. He hates his Wrath because it isn’t truly his… it’s Lucifer’s; a part of Lucifer that was never meant to exist.

So he responds the only way he knows how: he builds a facade.

The politeness, the calm voice, the sharp intellect, that soft, composed smile—none of it is random. It’s deliberate. It’s his mask. A way to keep the rage locked behind something elegant, something he crafted himself. Because that’s how he takes ownership of his being—by becoming the version of Satan he chose to be, not the one he was born from.

5. Lord of Lechery (Asmodues)

Unlike the rest of his brothers, his title is the most straightforward. There’s no hidden meaning, no layered metaphor, nothing to decode. It’s just… exactly what it sounds like.

And honestly? The simplicity fits.

He’s never ashamed of his sin. He doesn’t hide it, fight it, or wish he were anything else. Asmo embraces Lust completely, almost effortlessly, the way the others can’t with their own sins.

6. Lord of Flies (Beelzebub)

This title is one of the most literal mythic reference. “Beelzebub” translates directly to “Lord of the Flies.” And the symbolism is almost too perfect.

In nature, flies are creatures of endless appetite. They are naturally drawn to rotting food, waste, and excrement. This natural behavior serves as a metaphor for the spiritual decay and corruption associated with Gluttony—the excessive and indulgent consumption of food and drink to the point of waste.

So flies become a symbol of feasting, of consumption, of an appetite that exists for no reason other than that it must.

7. Lord of Emptiness (Belphegor)

In classical and theological contexts, sloth isn’t just laziness; it’s a spiritual or mental void—a withdrawal from meaningful action or engagement with the world.

This “void” inside a person mirrors the concept of emptiness. The sin doesn’t create chaos like Wrath or Gluttony; it creates a hollow space where purpose, effort, and ambition should be.
