Ajax Hartman

summers spent on the island were some of her favorite memories. it was always something to look forward to for her. even if this year was a bit different. still, it wouldn’t deter jordan from enjoying her time away from the chaos of the city. with freshly manicured nails and an iced coffee in hand, she was in a good mood. “so i think this year might be the one i actually learn to surf.” she stated as she set down the bags in her other hand – one that had a new white and gold bikini along with some cute accessories and the other with a wet suit in it. she let out a small chuckle, “i’ve always wanted to but i’m kinda scared, not gonna lie.” 

Ajax wasn’t sure if he’d ever get used to the life of the rich and famous. It wasn’t something that he particularly enjoyed, especially as he’d always been rather prudent. “Maybe we can learn together? I’ve tried doing it alone and so far it’s not exactly working for me.”

via was not going to break her streak. she had run five miles every morning for the past seven months–so, hangover be damned–she was going to finish her run without puking. okay. so maybe she’d stop for one second. just to text her mom back–and apparently catch someone in a rather awkwardly intimate predicament. “i mean, i won’t stop you.” the corner of her mouth tugged into a small smile, “you know what, let’s hear it. there has to be a more exciting reason than kicked out of bed.” 

Ajax chuckled a small glint in his eye despite a headache he had expected after his evening of drinking. “I mean you could try stopping me but I can guarantee you’d end up failing.” The male shrugged, “It’s not that exciting.”

to xavier walsh midnight walks were rather relaxing and calming, they kept him away from the nightmares he had so very often, even if that was just for a little while. despite it being the best option out there, sometimes he felt like laying down to sleep on the middle of the streets. it was why he had decided to make his way back early tonight, so he could try and catch some sleep whilst he hoped not to awaken seb while he would make his way back upstairs. that was until he caught someone rushing out of one of his neighbors their houses, looking at the young hartman with narrowed eyebrows. all he could do was shake his head for a few seconds until he took a breath. ‘ goodnight to you too, kid. ’

Ajax wasn’t usually as much of a fan of one night stands, at least not since his ex. Despite his reputation, it was hardly s bad as most people expected. He saluted at the older male, a small chuckle on his head. “Do you know the time by any chance?”

Britt laughed at Ajax. “It’s not just me, everyone can predict your playboy actions now.” She joked. “She’s doing well.” Britt shrugged, she wondered how Stella was doing, but lately Britt was in a world of her own, trying to adapt to the rich found on this pretentious island.

“Hey, I’m not as bad as Alex..” Ajax poked his sister’s shoulder, finding his sunglasses and putting them on to stop the blazing sun from blinding his eyes. “Really? I worry about her. She doesn't know how to relax.”

  the sun had already stained her shoulders red and freckled her nose and it was the happiest she’d been in a while .     ‘     it’s always beautiful here .     ’     the norwegian replied , a hand combing back damp ringlets as she all but fell into the sun chair .     ‘     i think it just might be my favourite place in the world .      ’

Ajax nodded, “I’ve only been here for a while and it certainly is beautiful. I really enjoy watching the sunset.” The male chuckled, “I still prefer city life, though.”

‘      well consider this a warm welcome to the island , especially from us guillorys .     ’     she turned her head , blonde locks falling on to her shoulders as she did so .     ‘     and i’m sure you’re not too interested in anything an old biddy like me would prefer to do .      ’

“That’s kind of you. This isn’t exactly what we’re used to, honestly.” The male shrugged, “I’m not sure. Better than what I know is around right now.”

val shook her head. “i mean.. it’s my first time BACK since a few years..” she said softly.  “it is a beautiful place.. if you would like i could show you a few places.” she offered. “if you are into bars i know a few ones that get pretty wild at night.” val said with a smile as she walked in the water.

“Oh right..” He realised then she must be apart of the Townsend family, despite not really knowing much about the people on the island. “That’ll be great. I’m a little worried that I’m going to get bored. I’ve always lived in cities.” Ajax smiled, nodding his head. “That sounds exactly like my sort of place.”

“oh, i know, they’re not getting that coat back. they’ve been awful. so it’s my coat now,” she simply shrugged. her arms were crossed, almost defensively still. a hand rubbed over her arm, like she was trying to comfort herself, feel less snappy about everything. “thanks, though. i appreciate that. i’ve gained quite a bit, though. people have been staring. it’s awful.”

“You know, that’s stealing right there,” He replied, an amused smile on his face. Ajax was surprised by the confidence, though didn’t want to get any more involved. “Well, they have no right to. If you want to eat, do it.”

It was crazy how one single text had managed to ruin what could have been a relaxing day at the beach. Upon reading the message, Aiden felt his chest tighten and his heart rose in his throat. His ex-girlfriend was making demands, even going as far as threatening to contact the press about his secret if he continued to ignore her. Just as he was about to text her back, a shadow was casted over him from behind. Locking his phone, he quickly glanced behind him to see who it was; praying the person didn’t see what was on his screen. “What? Do you want something?” he huffed, quickly shoving the device back into his pocket. “Too fucking bad, babe, because I don’t do autographs today.”

Ajax hadn’t even realised that he’d gotten in the way of the man, drying off after going in the sea for a little bit. He smirked slightly seeing the face, shaking his head. “Sorry mate, I’m not really a fan. I’m just drying off.”

“okay, okay, we’ll play without money but only this time. don’t you want to see if you can beat me?” she shook her head. “it’s not bad. it’s kind of boring.” 

“Okay...Fine. You should know I’m not the best at gambling.” It had been something he’d avoided in the year since leaving his biological father, not wanting to go into old habits. “I know. I miss city life.”

TAYLOR: i feel really weird for asking this but

TAYLOR: do you feel like going out tonight or whatever

TAYLOR: either getting drunk or doing something exciting i just

TAYLOR: i've had a shit day and i'm in a shit mood so i could use some cheering up

Val: it is late af

Val: i can't sleep

Val: pls tell me you are awake

Val: and you want to go do something.

Ajax: Yeah, I'm at this beach party

     “—-call me out on it, then, i’ve gotten fat,” the girl mumbled, seemingly unimpressed when facing the other person. but the tone of her voice, the slight shake in her hands, they told a different story; she was quite hurt by the idea that that’s why the other had been looking. “i just like crackers and cheese when i write, okay ?? it fuels my creative spirit..”

Ajax looked at the girl. “Whoever’s been calling you fat obviously needs to get their eyes tested. You look fine, you do whatever you want. I just was turning to say you’re sitting on that person’s coat.”

           ‘     c’est    tres   manifique   !     ’      the mother exclaimed as toes sunk into the sand . she certainly did love the island .     ‘    honestly , every time i’m here is better than the last .      ’

“It’s my first time here. What’s your favourite thing to do. I’m still not too sure what I feel.”
