“Take a trip? My – my. Is dear Thea going to venture into the light? Please do wear some sunscreen, our skin is fragile.” Taedyn smirked, though appreciative of her efforts. He would have not mind taking a break – too many people anticipated the Candyman, none knew of Thea. “Deadly, I am sure. Somehow you managed to be more normal. You are similar to Deo, but only in some ways so do not take that as an offense.” Taedyn knew he would have, somehow. “New CEO?” Taedyn cared little for that sort of business. He was never a man to directly show off his face, why would he care for tech? “No. I have not. Do I look like one that cares? I merely understand the market through my own research, I do not need someone telling me. So what does this CEO have to do with anything?” Taedyn paused, spinning around. “Ahh – Please do not tell me you are debating on bringing someone new.”

“See, look at that confidence already. Trust me, moving your hips like that has always helped girls throughout life.” Piper’s eyes lingered on her body momentarily. There was something so alluring about the way women moved. It was a beauty that men could never master. When she moved, the girl in front of her looked carefree, and her body bounced in all the right places. Piper’s eyes widened when she pulled out such a hefty bill. She wasn’t sure what she enjoyed looking at more, the bill or the place she hid it. But, like a dog when the owner has a treat, Piper’s eyes became glued to the bill. Never before did she ever see such a large bill. Quickly, she abandoned her initial idea of ransacking the coat room, this girl, if played right, would be worth more than anything she could have found in there. Piper came back to reality when she heard the other’s voice. “I can see that you can!” She said with her eyes moving to her hand once more. “No problem! You know, if you stick around with me I can teach you all of the tricks of the trade. Soon, you’ll be getting drinks for free.” Piper ensured. If she needed guidance, well, Piper was the perfect person. Her lifestyle was breaking the rules and getting free shit from people. Though she never had a place to call her own, she never paid for rent either. “Oh, I like you.” She replied at the possibility of a free drink. Piper followed behind her and grinned brightly as she approached the bar. “Okay, you got this. Do you want me to come with you, or do you think you can go alone?”

“Oh really? Hmm, guess I’ll just keep moving.” A laugh came from her, not too loud but more of a ‘that’s kind of funny’ laugh. Her eyes shut for a moment as she continued vibing to the music and looked to the girl once she opened them again. It was enjoyable to find someone who gave her some confidence, not that her friends didn’t but this seemed different. Like she was happy Sol was here with her maybe. “What kind of tricks do you mean? We aren’t doing anything.. bad or..” Though her face shifted with concern, her body continued moving just at a slower pace than before. If there’s one thing she didn’t need, it was a criminal record. Her school, her apartment, her parents, everything would be gone! But this girl was nice enough to help her out, was she really going to be a baby for trying to get free drinks. “N-Not that I haven’t done anything bad before. I’m totally game for anything!” Sol’s voice did begin to betray her but tried using her movements in the dance to mask it as best she could. “I can go up there, I’ve done this before a million times.”

Blood. How typical to end the evening. Few of the Spades were already working to clean up. Some wearing gloves to lift the body out of the room and others already spreading chemicals onto splatter to rid any evidence of the murder. Soon enough, it will be as if nothing had happened here. Becoming The Gray once more. 

One by one, the remaining Spade left the room with precise movements as they had been trained to do. Just like it was going to be planned for him. Now this wasn’t some sob story of “I see myself in you.” No. Feng Li was nothing like this but he was no monster like the boy’s father and he sought to do this as means for him to understand. He is fortunate in this case.

Feng Li looked to Sato, face remaining still as the boy began to panic more. He wasn’t surprised, it was expected after such an issue. “I will explain this once and when you begin, don’t expect repetition.” He approached him slowly as he spoke. “You will tell your mother your father’s mistakes have caught up with him and he is gone.” A hand moved to return his gun to it’s holster. “You will explain that you have found new employment, if you wish to disclose your employer to her so be it.” Both hands moved to interlock at his back, standing face to face with Sato. “And you Sato will work.. Or let your mother prepare two funerals.”

Emperatriz kept her eyes on Lisa, watching the other’s dancers movements. She knew that the man would cave in – everyone did for a pretty face. It was hard to turn away from two beautiful woman, offering you all that you could desire. Of course the payment would be steep, but only the rich dared enter the front doors of the Circle. “Perhaps we shall make this more interesting, that should gather your desire.” Emperatriz watched as the man perked up, getting to his feet and nearing the other girl. “Shall we take this to the backroom? It may be more desirable? And if you like, we may offer something delicious.” 

Lisa always wondered why men always hesitated for things like this, they came here for the very reason. Occasionally they’d get the sad man, crying for being there and not being home with their family. Such an unruly sight truly and she wished to just dance in peace. “More interesting and much more fun.. I’m sure you understand.” Her voice was soft but with a fierce tinge to it, body moving slowly from him and a finger motioning for him to follow. “Just the three of us all alone. With the right influence of course..” Lisa made note to remind him of payment, not allowing him to believe this all came free.

Evelyn was dancing among the crowd, a few drinks running through her already, With one in her hand. She was wearing and all white pant suite with a pink belt and heels. The Club was packed but that didn’t stop the crowd from noticing a new face. Even she noticed a shift in them and the whispers slithering about about. Before they could say more she moved over to girl and slipped her arm through to link it to the brunettes. With a bright smile she moved the girl over to the dance floor. “Hi there dumplin’! Now the party can really get started!” She knew she could be a bit much but she wanted the girl to feel less like a fish out of water. “I’m Evelyn! Stick with me and I can guarantee you a night full of free drinks.” 

With the mixture of alcohol, music and who knows what else people are getting into, Sol thought she’d be in and relaxing in no time. But honestly, she’s never felt more out of place, maybe she shouldn’t have left for the city. All her thoughts began fighting the little confidence she had coming into the bar, all until her arm link into another’s. Eyes shifting quick and an awkward smile tried forming on her face. “Oh, hi! Yes, let’s party!” Sol tried quickly to recover, focusing on the blonde whisking her away. “Hello! I’m Sol but please don’t pay for me! I have money!”

Salem chuckled at the girl. He had seen many before like her come in worried about being caught. He could tell she wasn’t quite sure they would stop her drinking due to her age. Though that was probably the least of the staffs worries. He was certain she would be fine. “I tend to find that just watching how silly some of these people act is quite entertaining. More so than the actual club itself.” Salem wondered how many people here would get hurt on their way home and end up in his ER in the morning. “Just a little, I come here after work just to unwind a little. I’m Salem, I’m one of the Doctors here in Alios.” He put his hand out for the girl to shake. 

Sol looked to the man, head starting to do unnecessary connections while he spoke to her. Was he much older than her? He didn’t seem so but then again Sol was only twenty. Maybe her outfit made her look older? That had to be it! “Oh? I never really look at people when I’m here. Which is very often!” She continued trying to sell her age, thinking it was working in her favor. “A doctor! You look very young, did you graduate super early? Oh! Are you like a student doctor? I know those are very common!” Both hands shot out, one holding each side as she shook his hand.

“I believe plenty and I know plenty. What I have seen and developed – I guess we cannot hide it now. But I can play stupid when needed. I rather not have people crawling at my legs for answers. They rarely see you, but me – god it’s like I am a walking sign.” But thankfully he had grown smarter, now it was more difficult to know when he was up and about. “Exactly. See, you are normal in the sense that your brain is not filled with chaos. You can think straight whereas Dianthe and I – I am sure you know where I am going with that. Lets not talk about Deo, I hardly know if there is a brain up there at all.” He joked, putting his hand into his pocket and quickly pulling out a joint. “While I know you don’t want to change the formula but how about expansion?”

“Maybe it’s time I take a trip to see for myself. Could give you a break from the crawlers.” Her head tilted, brow raised at her brother. “Start some drama, people enjoying antagonizing the lesser seen faces.” A vine lifted above a few containers, samples falling like feathers. She had to make her Taedyn was always supplied with fresh products. “The coddled life has its results. Isn’t it a wonder what I’d be like, growing like you all and having all of this.” A flower grew at her palm, bright violet and alluring. Something like this could simply kill someone within the hours. What a treat that would be. “Expansion.. Have you seen the new CEO at the nice tech company, Taedyn?”

“Oh chica, I think you might like my job more than I do.” Or at least she may have enjoyed the perks. Emperatriz still did quite like getting to dress up in sexy attire, she always did have the body for it. “Tell him you said so? Oh I think he’d love to hear it from your face directly. I can imagine it.” Emperatriz held back her laugh, having tired to picture you small sister standing up against Anthony. He was rather large, though Emperatriz was much closer in size than Lorena had been. “Beautiful, as always.” She clapped upon seeing her sister, having loved how easily fashionable both girls were. It felt as if either did not need to try, it was natural. “That is something we have to tackle when we get home.” Grabbing her purse, Emperatriz swirled the keys in her hand. “I’ll let you drive, if you want.” Though she was unsure whether her sister cared much for that. Moving to the door, Emperatriz pulled it open and waited for her sister to go through. “Maybe we should get new purses too, mine is so worn.”

“Oh? Are you trying to get me hired so I don’t over buy on your card?” Lorena was joking but it was something she had done and still does some sometimes. “Can I tell him? Take me to him and I will.” Why would you hide back from a challenge, plus with how she talks about him, maybe he was worth meeting. Maybe she wouldn’t have to spend anymore of her sister’s money. She spun for her sister at the compliment, grabbing her own purse to leave. “Exactly, another day’s issue. Plus we could get some new stuff to put these clothes away in.” Maybe redo the whole closet if they have the time. “Oooh, I can get there quicker too! Gimme!” Her hand shot out for the keys, doing a small bounce in excitement. “Maybe a baquette bag? A bright color for it.”

Emperatriz never did this often, encouraging a customer into the purchase of two dancers. Truly, she enjoyed the job on her own. It was easier to assess which person was wealthy enough to steal from. When she was with others, she was unable to perform her normal game. “Extremely, but I think he can handle it.” She draped her arms around the gentleman, her eyes peering up to the girl. “How could someone say no to us. Right, amigo? The finest in this establishment. “Perhaps we can offer him more than a simple dance? Anthony gives us something special only for the special customers.” The man rose to his feet, following Lisa’s gesture. Emperatriz followed behind, a smile plastered on her lips. “Payment first,” she mused.

As the music picked up, so did Lisa’s dancing. Her body moved closer to her partner’s and began wrapping limbs around Emperatriz’s body with her head falling on her. Her eyes peered to the man, moving their bodies faster to try and influence him to make a quicker decision. “Don’t be too long. It’s rude to keep young ladies waiting.” Her face shifted closer to her friend’s ear, seeming seductive but more to whisper to her. “Once he pays, it’s all yours.” It wasn’t fair to the man but Lisa didn’t care really. It was a kill or be killed and she was fortunate enough to want her friend to be paid fully. “You know the rules, sir. Don’t want to make us sad.”

“Well –” his cheeks grew a light shade of pink, embarrassment painted all over his face. “I try not to make it a habit, but you know. Sometimes life takes you that way.” He chuckled, trying to joke alongside her. “Locks you away? Evil step-sister?” He asked, not sure why anyone would need to be locked away. Unless he girl was absolute crazy, Sato found that keeping someone so sheltered was damaging to their mental state. “Me? Never. I am a good boy. I mean – I have not killed anyone, but I have seen terrible things.” What he had experienced, Sato never wanted anyone else to be apart of. He tried to forget the memories, the trauma. “Rough week for my wallet?” He paused, perking up. “How much are you talking?” He chuckled. He had only just recently graduated college. The amount of money to his name had been whatever he managed to make during school. The rest – well his job was pending on circumstances. “Nice to meet you Lo, I am Sato.” He reached for her hand, grabbing it awkwardly as if not knowing what to do next. Was he suppose to kiss it? Giving it a little shake, Sato retreated back to his stool. “What do you say we have some shots? Reposado?” 

“Mm.. You wanna talk about it or is the plan to get really drunk?” Her smile grew a bit at the suggestion. She almost told him that he’d be robbed that way but wanted to keep the mood light. “Not evil or step, just waaay too overprotective. As if I don’t get the city is bad.” Her eyes rolled deeply thinking of the many arguments they’d have but tried to to think too much on it. Lorena took a small breath at his words before putting a small hand up. “Alright, no more sad girl hours, we’re having a good night now.” If something made her upset, it was sad people and sad topics when drinking. She had to be in the mood for that kind of talk. “You offered me alcohol, I want that one.” A manicured finger pointed up to the bottle on the top shelf, eyes scanning his face for the reaction. She finished her second drink, pushing the cup to the bartender and leaning on her hand. 

Taedyn watched the flower grow, eyes rising at the sight. “You do know of the occurrences that have been having since the drug went public?” People have been saying that had powers now, which Taedyn thought ridiculous. How could people acquire such after consuming a mere drug? “I wish he’d not be so stupid.” Was that too much to ask of? They already had Dianthe, who was crazy in her own right. Taedyn he was insane, but at least he accepted the fact. “You are the only normal sibling – you should at least be proud of that.” He returned by to the ledge, leaning now against it. “Than I am his villain,” Taedyn chuckled, circling his hand in the air. “You know what they have been calling me, the Candyman. I kind of like it. I think it’s very fitting, I am a storybook nightmare. Now we have to spread rumors about the mastermind. Got any ideas?”

Oh Thea knew. She wanted this to happen for so many reasons and a small part of her, like her brother, wanted the chaos. Imagine the realization when powerful and corrupt people find it. She’ll be sure to give them a special mix of it. “Mm, so many rumors, you don’t believe any of them?” The blonde couldn’t help but look up at her brother from her spot, head tilted in curiosity. “Some believe it does nothing at all.” Her focus shifted for a moment from their sibling to the drug but slowly returned as he continued speaking. “The normal one.. Who creates drugs?” A smirk grew on her, mimicking the face he made back at him. “Every dealer has their supplier, no need for a storybook.”

Salem only came to The club to get a drink or two after a long day at the hospital. He sat, alone as usually taking in the scene he saw so often. Only tonight seemed so much more wild than what he was used to. The People loved a good theme night. Salem noticed the small girl enter the club almost uncertain of what to do and how to fit in. He made his way over and leaned in to greet her. “Do worry, most of them don’t bite” he teased. Looking to the crowd before them. “I can see a newbie from a mile away, What brings you here tonight?” 

Clubs attended? Plenty. But ones where she was able to sneak in with the assumption she was old enough to drink? This was the one and only. And she probably should’ve listened when others told her to go within a group. Her eyes shifted to the new face, a small smile at his words before answering. “Oh you know.. Clubbing and drinking!” She tried her best to hide how nervous the scene was making her. “What um.. brings you here? Drinking too I’m sure!” A awkward laugh began coming from her as her own answer.

Emperatriz felt the smile grow on her lips. Though there was still a much more pressing matter at hand, she wanted to see Lorena happy more than anything. She pressed the coffee mug to her lips, filling her mouth with the warmth of it. “Like hell? What, you do not like a little leather?” Emperatriz personally did, she thought it made her look sexy. “You know Anthony, that man would pay for everything other than clothes. He says the more, the better. Now what did you want again. Shoes? What is wrong with your old stuff?” Emperatriz laughed, knowing Lorena had far too many. “Why not get rid of some?”

Her closet was honestly an organized messed, she definitely needed to go back and color-code everything by item again. “Si like hell! Honestly it’s just waaaay too hot.” Lorena started refreshing her face up quickly and adding a light touch of make up to compliment the fit she had picked out. “He should really pay for it all, tell him I said so.” She joked before finally coming out to show the green outfit with a small pose. “Of course shoes. An outfit like this could match with so many and I need options.” For now, she paired the fit with a simple chunky heel. “I will, after I have what’s filling empty spaces.

Piper smirked to herself when her suspicions were confirmed. She once knew the same nervous face of sneaking into bars. She chuckled a little at her loud voice. “No, not unless you give them a reason too. The bartenders don’t tend to ID when they think the bouncer already had.” She reassured, directing her attention towards to bar. “All you have to do is walk and talk with confidence. Look slightly annoyed like they aren’t doing it fast enough and are wasting your time. They won’t suspect someone doing something not allowed to act like that. Oh, and if you can, tip well. They will be so happy they won’t want to question a thing.” Piper swore she could write a book on how to get away with illegal things. “Don’t worry. If all fails, I’ll just buy it for you.” She patted the girl shoulders like a proud mother ready to watch her baby bird leave the nest for the first time.

The smirk on the others face began to reassure her. It had been such an event of multiple things to lead up to now and honestly, she was happy that this was a good pause before any possible storm she had to face. “Confidence. Alright so I just need to feel myself then..” Sol moved in place softly, just trying to dance the stress away like in the zumba class at her college. “Oh I can tip well! I got this for helping the mental health department!” She dug into her shirt, pulling out a folded $100 bill. Her face beamed at the girl, all the advice was just helping motivate her as she danced with her bill. “And then if not I buy you one! Let’s go in and do it!” The sway in her body turning her in the direction of the bar to skip over.
