Some stuff I drew in a drawpile today, the loose theme was "draw your character as a food mascot (this can mean anything)."
First image was what inspired the prompt (I suggested it this week); I wanted to draw my oc Kanon as a little pre-packaged bento mascot (do they even do pre-packaged bentos?), the Japanese reads "Neko Bentou," I'm not very creative with names apparently.
Second image extrapolated from the prompt a little more, this time it's my character Aphelia as a sort of mascot for a medical service; perhaps it's an advertisement for a fantasy guild, or is more rooted in reality, maybe a pharmacy? The katakana just reads "Aphelia," I didn't want to think more than 2 seconds about what to subtitle it haha...
The last two images are just more practice with this style of drawing, it was fun removing some of the detail from my characters and making them more simplified, by the time I got to Susan I kinda didn't know what to do...

I spent a lot more time on this reference than I expected to, dunno how much tumblr is gonna compress the text but I do have a full resolution upload on my furaffinity (user/heavenkahell/).
I've had a very stressful week so I'm gonna keep my writing for Ichiro pretty short; Again want to emphasize that I'm not set on the names I've been choosing for this batch of characters, but I'm trying to be more thoughtful about how I choose names for characters if I decide to use Japanese names, I chose Ichiro (literally meaning "first son") because a friend has a frog oc/sona with a similar name and I'm silly like that, but Ichiro ended up being a pretty funny name to choose for two reasons:
Ichiro is the first character that Onn interacts with
Ichiro is represented by the Magician, the "first" of the major arcana (technically the fool supersedes it but whatever)
I'm sure other pieces of media do this all of the time, but the name Ichiro ended up coincidentally fitting the character a lot, so I might end up keeping it.
