For a young child, it was strange and paradisiacal. He played there, with them, those strange folk with long ears and eyes like jewels, in the flowers and ate well with them. Gorged himself on sweetmeats and desserts, it was all so good. But he was only allowed three days. Three days and he was returned to where he had came, yet when he was returned amongst the humans, it had not been three days that he been missing.

  It had been six months.
