The feeling of sticking to the single-log bridge until it’s dark is indeed not bad

I adore this scene.  Lan Zhan doesn’t even need to open his eyes to know Wei Ying is up to no good. He just knows him so well.  And Wei Ying while being pouty does as he is told :) Compared to how teenage Lan Zhan reacted to Wei Ying’s shinanigans, this is super soft. I like to think this is partly from his experience being a dad to A-Yuan. Like, as a parent you can sort of predict when your kid is trying to do something naughty without even looking at them. I bet he would have been so patient disciplining A-Yuan and the other baby juniors over the years. I just have so many feelings about Lan Zhan being a dad. I want to know all the details of his life with A-Yuan and the other juniors! 

Not lingering on the past is Wei Wuxian’s specialty.
