Realistically I know the reason conservative politics is dominated by people who are so old they're making campaign speeches while actively dying is because they don't value or believe in anything other than personal power and thus won't cede even a millimetre of influence as long as they're alive to wield it, but sometimes I like to imagine that part of it is that they're legitimately running out of people who are big enough assholes to replace them.

Just got my first AI allegation so gonna start posting behind the scenes pics, and also I love yapping about my lazy ass process to art and stuff :P

So I modelled the angewomon last week, and I've been thinking that since i waste so much time rigging my models, I should probably reuse them for other pieces every now and again. Thought angewomon with her helmet off might be interesting. Had to redo her head and hair though, and the neck portion. She is still bold from the back lmao

Hair was created using curves. Found the technique from a speed sculpt a few years ago and it works pretty well. I should probably make the shape less cylindrical, but with the flat lighting you can't really tell.

Even when i do a proper rig, I still struggle with posing. Tend to just do the poses myself and try to replicate it by guessing the angle of each joint, which isn't the most effective way. Gotta start reading some art books for references at some point. I know araki used to use fashion magazines for his poses but i'm not really a high culture person, so if anyone has any recomendations i would really appreciate it. Problem is sometimes posing the object true to life isn't enough and you have to break the model so it looks right on camera. I've seen some interesting behind the scenes stuff from 3d series where the whole model stretches and skews so it looks right, but my rigs do not give me that amount of freedom
