The comments under this video are so mind boggling and disgusting.
Did any of you head up your ass individuals even care to watch the actual video? Or listen to what she said? Or even realize that his charges were dropped because, guess what? They found the police clearly in the wrong and they liedβ¦yβall are so pathetic. βMaybe he shouldnβt have double parked!β So youβre telling me that if you double parked and the situation escalated as quick as it did youβd be okay with It?
Lemme rephrase with a different scenarioβ¦you get pulled over for a tail light and immediately get a gun pulled on you and treated like a threat over a tail light. Or youβre told to slowly get out of the car and before you can even finish moving you get shot and die because the cop as a scared shitty cop with irrational fears of a different skin tone. Or you get choked out 5 seconds after the cops were βquestioningβ you and they claimed you resisted. When in reality they bum rushed you and the moment you react they seize the opportunity to jump on you like a pack of wild dogs. These are all real scenarios that happen and all yβall have to say is shut up and obey. People are literally dying and getting there asses beat for following orders to a T. Yet all yβall can say is βwell if you just listen, well if you just obey, well..β We are dying and being wrongfully arrested and beatenβ¦and all yβall have to say is βWell π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ..β
And for the people that cry about players using tv as protest. It makes perfect sense to use tv as a platform. You canβt protest in a locker room. The point of a protest is for It to be seen on a large scale for change to happen or at the very least, insight a narrative of change to come. Which is exactly what they were doing while protesting. Not protesting the flag, or burning it, or saying America should rot, or even the anthem, but the injustices happening in this country to everyone and in great numbers to people of color.
I just love how people are so quick to bring up BLM. BLM has a large focus on black individuals yes, but they also focus heavily on rights and equal opportunities for everyone black, Brown, white, yellow, lgbtqa+ etc.. you canβt tell me that if you had that platform you wouldnβt do it. They have every right to protest there and to say βdo it on ur own timeβ is taking that away. Forcing them to stay in the locker room is taking that right away. The moment somebody decides to use their rights to do something about people scream to fire, shut up, and literally send death threats for just wanting to live in a equality with their peers.
