So you've hit the right spot But you've still got the itch, Business and pleasure You got bought, it's a bitch, Just a case of a face and a place, no disgrace It's just a rhythm a syndrome It's a feeling you crave Click track, Click track. (Jan Ince-Phil Palmer)

HAPPY 68th BIRTHDAY AGNETHA FÄLTSKOG! Enjoy this song written by The Agnetha herself and Ingela Forsman. Legend says that the song was included in the album to satisfy Agnetha’s contract with CBS-Cupol Records before it expired by the end of 1979. The expiration allow her to be in Stig Anderson’s roster as a solo artist two years later after the release of her final compilation album with CBS-Cupol.

Don't you wish you could live every moment Like that moment's the best one you'll see? That's the way the world is supposed to be When you find someone you can believe in Letting go is the easy part Just close your eyes and take a breath And open up your heart
Armpit hair, don’t care...

In Memory of: John Charles Kenneth Gärdestad (1948 - 2018)
For those that have not heard of Kenneth Gärdestad, he was an older brother of singer-songwriter Ted Gärdestad. He also wrote one of Agnetha Faltskog’s pre-ABBA song “ Så glad som dina ögon” in 1972, but for most of Kenneth’s career he played a significant part in Ted Gardestad’s music career. Kenneth was also heavily involved in Hannes Holm’s 2018 biography movie, Ted – För kärlekens skull, reportedly supervised the realistic scenes of Holm’s movie.
Kenneth was a significant part of Ted’s career since he wrote his lyrics to most of Ted’s music, from Undringar (1971) to Äntligen på väg (1994).
The songs Satellit, För kärlekens skull, and Jag vill ha en egen måne will come to one’s mind when thinking of Ted’s music. What they have in common is the blending of Ted and Kenneth’s songwriting, that would make the singer-songwriter famous while Kenneth stood in the background of the fame, while well acknowledged in the album sleeves. After Ted’s tragic death, Kenneth went on to be an architect for a primary school in Sweden. He died of cancer on 3 March 2018, aged 69 years.
Just one heart, that needs to open Just one word will break the ice One touch, to kill the darkness One kiss to give it light.

For those that can’t see Hannes Holms’ film about Ted Gärdestad, Ted: Show Me Love (actually Ted – För kärlekens skull),
here’s a behind the scene video of Amanda Gylling as Agnetha Fältskog and Angelina Håkansson as Anni-Frid Lyngstad lip syncing to “Sommaren med dig”, written specifically for Hannes Holms’ film, according to Håkansson. They are supposed to portray Fästfolket, a band that later became ABBA.
Also featuring: Edvin Bredefeldt as Benny Andersson and Jonas Bane as Björn Ulvaeus.
