We spent last night in Tyrnävä after Riitaoja's show in Oulu. 3am sunrise.

Recording with Stina Koistinen of Color Dolor! She was once my mom's most gifted 7-year-old piano student.

So, I wrote this song the other day and figured you might like to watch my incredibly attractive dancer-roommate, Anna Maria Häkkinen, spin a hula hoop for minutes on end while you listen to it. Incidentally, this is my FIRST MUSIC VIDEO EVER. The song is called "The Split Side Sings." You're welcome!

Now, I don’t usually feel comfortable posting pictures or name-dropping like this, but I’d like to make an exception and take a moment to express how impressed I am with this wonderful artist named Josh Tillman, aka. Father John Misty. Sure, I’m one of the hoards of women left swooning for days after seeing his live show, but beyond that, I feel I have a tremendous amount to learn from his irreverent, eloquent, morbid humor and charismatic stage-presence. This man is a true original, and sharp as a tack. Go see him on tour while the seeing is good!
