hello friends! my name’s myah and i’ll be playing the lovely lily evans!! she’s my little cinnamon roll that i’ve been playing for a few years now, and she’s pretty much 98% sass and wit, so she can and will destroy a man in five words or less. anywho, here’s some info!
( sophie turner, cisfemale, she/her ) — lily evans ? oh, you mean the seventeen year old muggleborn. they’re a seventh year gryffindor, aren’t they ? i’ve heard they’re really altruistic, but i know for a fact that they can be obdurate at times. rumor has it that after graduation they'll side with the order.
muggleborn and proud!! she’s honestly so, so proud of her heritage and the way she was raised and i honestly just feel bad for anyone that tries to shame her for it because she can go from 0 to 100 REAL QUICK.
though to some she may perhaps be seen as innocent and somewhat of a professor’s pet, these are mostly the people that merely know of her in passing. anyone that takes the time to get to know lily learns that she is anything but. she’s fiery and stubborn and ambitious and at times even self-righteous.
she’s not afraid to speak her mind, whether that’s to some oblivious peer swearing by their pureblood elitism, to professors or anyone in a place of power, even to friends and family she cares dearly for. lily is not afraid to raise her voice, and she will fight to the ends of the earth for what she believes is just and fair.
though she’s an open-minded and caring individual, she can sometimes be a bit oblivious to others if she’s fighting for something she wholeheartedly believes in. she very much believes that people can change, but at times, just like any other person, she can get stuck on first impressions and relies on her gut instincts. occasionally this can lead to her being stubborn and obstinate in her perceptions of some individuals.
lily’s got a record player set up in the dorm, a little something to remind her of home, that is enchanted and is almost always playing a beatles song. hey jude is her all-time favourite song and she’s a little bit in love with john lennon.
LOVES MUGGLE FILMS SO MUCH. she’s definitely a hardcore cinephile and will go on and on about her favourite films to everyone and anyone that’s willing to listen. these rants have been known to go on for several hours, so many try to ward her off the subject as soon as possible, or else there’s really no stopping her.
contrary to popular belief, lily actually does love to fly. though the muggleborn in her will never truly be used to the sensation of being so far above ground, she really does enjoy the way the wind blows through her hair and whistles in her ears. however, she isn’t nearly confident enough in her flying skills to be on a broom by herself, so if she’s in the air it’s usually her clinging on tightly to someone else that has their hands on the broom.
FEMINIST AF. lily is known to fight for the causes she believes in without fail, and there is none she believes in more than the fight for equality. both of the worlds she’s grown into — the wizarding world and the muggle world — still struggle with the concept of equality, and its something that has affected her from day one, and something she refuses to accept. she will fight for equality until her dying breath if she must, and she’ll do it with pride.
