We don’t have restrictive rules about how the guys who play our Tombsonas onstage can engage with the fandom! As long as they’re being respectful, and not claiming to write/rewrite what is Actually Canon, there’s no reason they can’t have as much fun with the roles as they want! I would say obviously Thomas, Marcus, and Guy (and sometimes Jon) are plenty different from the characters they portray in our stage show, so I would generally caution against being like “[person] IS character” when it’s more like “[person] PLAYS character” but they also are awesome performers and genuine fans of the material and fan art etc. To me it’s not super different from them being voice actors who engage with their roles in a fandom.
