The Value of What Can't Be Touched

We're used to measuring life in material things: possessions, achievements, checkmarks. But the most beautiful things that have ever happened to me have never had a physical form.

I'm one of those people who love solitude. Over the years, this has become not just a personality trait, but a conscious choice. Being "maximally alone" isn't about loneliness. It's about that rare freedom where other people's scripts, judgments, and even the body language we adjust for others just fall away.

What remains is simply me. And nature.

My most beautiful moments happen right there, on the edge of silence. The wind that touches my face without asking for anything in return. Light falling through leaves — you can't buy it or keep it; it exists for exactly one second. The sound of my own breath in the forest, when I realize: "I am part of something vast and gentle."

In that moment, there's no race. No "obligatory" version of me. Just a calm that makes your chest ache.

And this intangible thing — the freedom to be yourself — is worth more than any purchase. It doesn't fill shelves, but it fills the soul.

So I choose silence over noise, a path over a pavement, an hour with a tree over an hour in the news feed. Because it's here that I feel how beautiful it is to be alive.
