Lolix really was a great ship. You’re war torn and jaded and nothing but the mission means anything to you anymore. But you’re not enlisted anymore and there is no mission and the mission was wrong and horrible the whole time but you don’t confront that, instead you cling to your brother in arms and protect him, being his partner, working with him even if it feels like it’s all for him only sometimes, that becomes your mission. And when the day comes that Locus finally confronts it all, he finds there’s a lot of him that wants to kill the one person he may have ever loved, and he can do it with little more than one revelation. And he still misses him anyway
