When it came to smaller details of their jobs, Lena and Alex often didn’t delve too deep. Especially, for Alex, when it came to an undercover case. One of which she had been working diligently on for the last few weeks, and had even taken her out of town for the last week or so. Lena had been fairly busy herself, dealing with a board member that seemed to be using company resources for illegal activity. She yet to find any definitive proof of it, though, so it had taken some time to weasel her way into his good books and inner circle that spread far outside of L Corp. It went without saying that, when he offered to take her out for a night, along with his entourage, there was no way she could say no.
Of course, she hadn’t been expecting the “night out on the town” to be in a completely other town. Nor did she expect to be brought into a high-end strip club. Not that she was complaining, of course.Â
As they stepped into the building and made their way over to a small private booth toward the back, Lena’s eyes skirted around the place, making sure to keep completely aware of her surroundings. She was fairly certain that at least a few of his private clientele met him here for transactions to be processed, so the more she could gather about the building, the better.Â
All plans to keep focused on her own mission flew out the window, though, the second her eyes locked with those of their waitress.Â
This certainly explained why Alex didn’t want to get into the nitty gritty of what this job was that she was working on.
There were very few instances in which Alex didn’t like an assignment J’onn gave her. Going undercover as a stripper slash waitress was pretty high up there in the list of things she never wanted to do. Ever. Again.
The blonde wig kept getting into her eyes, the almost non-existent leather shorts kept trying to become underwear, and her boobs were literally spilling over the cups of her skimpy bikini top.
She missed Lena, she had already given four lap dances, which was aggravating enough on its own, and the case kept dragging on. It was hell.
Still, as the call came over her comms that her targets had just arrived, she straightened her back, put on her best coy smile, and sashayed her way to the private booth at the very back of the building. It took all her years of training to stop herself from reacting when she found familiar green eyes staring back at her as she deposited their usual drinks on the table.
“Hello, gentlemen, I see you brought a new friend tonight.” Alex said, winking while she cried on the inside. “What can I get you, hot stuff?”
