I have this headcanon that Piper is like, the Jaden Smith of the PJO universe, the paps definitely know who she is.

Sometimes I think about Piper being in the middle of a story that her grandpa told her and then realizing she’s forgotten the ending. And she’s distraught. Those stories always meant so much to her, and her grandpa was her safe haven for so long she can’t believe she’s completely forgotten a story. But then, she decides to take a shot in the dark and calls her dad. Much to her surprise he remembers the story. And even more than that, he tells it /exactly/ how her grandpa would have told it. The same emphasis on words, the same excitement in his voice, even using the same voices for the characters. Memories of her grandpa flood her mind, and her and her dad stay up late talking about him. It’s one of her all time favorite conversations with her dad.
