This kind of nonsense destroys me every time. I literally know 0 millennials who don’t want to work. We want to work. We are dying for work, for a living wage, for some modicum of stability and independence. But we are instead stuck working two, three, four, maybe even five precarious, part-time, minimum wage jobs that still don’t add up to anything recognizable as a living.

This is personal anecdote and ingrained social bias thinly disguised as fact. But, then again, he’s a forty-year-old white man: he doesn’t want to work too hard to get at the facts, and he doesn’t have to. At the end of the day, someone will still publish soft-boiled shit like this.
