Dace hugged Kieran back, feeling somewhat better. But this wasn't Kieran's fault. It was his. He was gone far too long. Leaning his head against the other, Dace hugged Kieran tighter. Now feeling a bit more guilty then ever. "It's not your fault. It's mine."

"Don’t worry about it, really. I’m fine now that you’re here. I just missed you a little, is all." A little? He had fallen into a small depression. 

"I'm really sorry, Kieran." He spoke softly; his voice quaking a bit. He looked down as he tried to blink a bit of tears away.

The cat blinked at the other placed his hands on his cheeks. He sighed, “I’m fine, of course, why do you ask?” No, it was clear he wasn’t fine. He was just too tired to try and hide it. 

"You don't look fine at all. I'm really worried because it might be my fault for this," Dace sighed heavily as he lowered his hands away from the other's cheek. It seemed to him that his absence was causing this.

Dace blushed slightly, as he felt Kieran kissed his forehead lightly. He kept a small stare at Kieran, unsure if the other was all right or not. But in the end, he gave a small nod.
