Summary: Eddie couldn't be happier, he's finally dating the person that seems like his forever. His friends know, his parents are coming to visit, which not ideal, but he'll deal with it, and he finally feels like he's able to just breathe.

Buck can't sleep, he's lying in bed with the love of his life and he knows it's gonna end. They told their friends, his would-be in laws are coming, but he keeps waiting for Eddie to tell him they don't have to fake date anymore.

Eddie lets himself be dragged into the bar, Buck’s fingers interlocked with his. Buck’s cheeks are tinged a soft pink, his birthmark reddening along with them. Eddie tries not to think about how much it matches the cardigan he decided not to wear today. Hen and Karen yell out as they get to the table. “There’s the lovebirds!” Karen lunges herself at Eddie. “She’s already a few in,” Hen giggles from her seat, “I’m getting there.” Eddie laughs. “And I take it you told her about me and Buck already?” “The minute you let it slip, Edmundo.” Buck lets go of Eddie’s hand as he kisses Karen’s forehead, earning a nose scrunch and smile from her. He walks over to Hen and hugs her tightly, mumbling about the traffic. “Where is everyone else?” Buck asks, scanning the bar as he takes the seat next to Eddie. “Ravi’s getting drinks. Athena and Bobby are taking a rain check, they just want to be home for a while.” Buck hums. “She say anything about hosting us next week to you?” Hen pulls out her phone and holds up a finger. She hands the phone to Buck and he leans into Eddie, showing him the text. From Athena: we both know I won’t be able to stop him from cooking Saturday? Buck says A-Shift should be off Eddie nods. “Afternoon should be fine.  I think we have —” “Breakfast with your parents, then Chris’s PT. Should be done by three o’ clock the latest.” Buck passes the phone back to Hen. He settles back into Eddie, shifting closer. Eddie freezes for a second before remembering he’s allowed this. He wraps his arm around the back of Buck’s chair, hooking his foot under one of the legs and pulling. Buck startles at the movement before looking at Eddie and smiling at him sweetly. “Are we this bad?” Karen whisper-yells at Hen.

Buck: Eddie please take it easy, you got stabbed 3 days ago.

Eddie: It wasn't even that deep, the pain it's barely there, and I'm all better now.

Buck: So you don't want my help undressing you and in the shower?

Dennis: Oh, uh- Nothing too specific. Kinda tall, kinda built? Brown eyes. Confident, smart, someone who can take charge, y’know? Maybe even a d-

Trinity: You're just describing Robby, aren't you?

Dennis: …maybe-
