Hello! Thanks so much for asking!

-A few weeks out from the show I was told my school wasn’t able to get the contacts need to do the traditionally black eyes for Jane 😭 so I had to think of something else! I was inspired mostly by “doll eyes” and “doll makeup” trends that I saw on Tik Tok but I designed the final look by myself! I knew I wanted my eyes to look huge and I already have big eyes so i just exaggerated them a bit. The lips were inspired by normal creepy doll Halloween makeup! The reviewer of the show said I reminded him of old “Love is…” cartoons and I’d have to agree. (Picture attached below)

- I don’t believe Jane knew these people (or remembered if she did) so she is just increasingly intrigued and kind of a social outcast at first sometimes trying to win their approval and super disappointed and sad when they basically make fun of me with “she’s a freaky monster” or “even that thing gets a vote tonight”. I want to be one of them but since I don’t even know who I am myself I have a hard time fitting in. They slowly start to warm up to me throughout the show and I even share my cupcake with Ricky at the end :,) and have some nice moments with all the characters before they decide to send me back.

- that’s a hard one! I debated for so long how I should interpret the character since RTC lore has so many layers and theories. Everyone in my cast also had different theories as well! One even suggesting the victim could have been a New Orleans Katrina victim since the ballad of Jane doe is written musically with a New Orleans jazz funeral feel and it is marked in the music! I think I may have been reincarnated as penny lamb or just never went on the rollercoaster in the first place and slowly start gaining bits of pieces of my personality back throughout the songs in the show. The way I played Jane was very much of I have no idea who I am and it’s killing me (literally) but I start accepting that by the end of the show because I realize these people care about me even if they didn’t know me in life. :,)
