HYMN TO THE PILLORY

Hello!!! So, as some of you know, I’m going into my sophomore year of college. I live and attend school in Chicago, and if you know anything about Chicago, you understand that it’s one expensive place to live. Basically, I need to make some money to assist in paying my rent and buying groceries/supplies for school. (I’m an art student and the tubes of paint I buy run anywhere from $9 – $28+ per tube, and the tube only lasts a couple of weeks at best.) I am job searching as well, but work + school tends to give me buttloads of anxiety I don’t want to deal with this semester, so I thought I’d give this a shot. Anyways, on to the good stuff! 

I can offer a number of ‘services’; most of these, I think, will be handy to some of my fellow writers in the rp world. I’ve been coding, skinning, and using photoshop since I was around twelve years old. I’ve come up with some prices ideas and provided samples below, but everything is negotiable, and will vary based on the amount of time spent, what you’d like, etc.! I’m going to be flexible on prices for some of these things.

ANOTHER NOTE: Since you are PAYING for these, no visible credit will be required on anything. If someone ASKS, obviously don’t take credit yourself, but otherwise, the only thing requiring visible credit will be FULL SKINS.

$0.50 each. I can make you a whole pile to upload to randimg. I’ll even do the image searching of your play by/photos of whatever for you! This makes 5 avatars $2.50, and 10 avatars $5. if you purchase more than that, I’ll drop the price per av down to $0.40 each! 

……..Misc: i.e. app/shipper images (Examples: 1 2 3 4 )

$1.50 each. Any size, any coloring, textured/not textured! 

……..GIFS (Examples: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7)

$2.00 each. We’ll have to talk size/video quality!

CODING !!!

…….. Templates (Examples: tabbed shipper, cascading shipper, thread template, wanted ad template 1, wanted ad template 2)

Anywhere from $7 and upwards. Depends entirely on what you want/the amount of time it will take. I can also create templates for site-wide use on your site, such as app templates, claim templates, or templates for your rules/guidelines/etc. I’m willing to learn how to make something work if you have an idea, even if I’m not already familiar with it. Keep in mind that something like a tabbed shipper will cost more than one thread template. I can also make graphics to go with the code(s), possibly at a cheaper price than $1.50 each, depending on what we agree on for the cost of the code itself! 

……. Skins (Examples: one, two, three is a wip!)

$40 - $80. It might seem like a stretch, but let’s break it down this way. Minimum wage in Chicago is $8.25/hour. These skins, generally, take around 8 hours minimum, but usually longer. We won’t be selecting a price based on labor, though; we’ll agree on something before I start the process, you’ll pay half up front, the other half when it’s finished. We’ll also discuss a timeline. Prices will vary depending on how many templates you want included with the skin and the features of the skin itself (i.e. sliding header in ex. 1, drop down in ex. 3, mini-profiles, etc.). All graphics are included at no extra charge. As I’m making the skin, anything you don’t like an want altered in any way will be changed to your liking! You can also switch out the graphics and fonts with the skin (like a ‘skin change’ for the members of your site), therefore getting more use out of it. I’ll just ask that you don’t use my coding as a skin base or use it on any other site without my permission, and that the credit remain in-tact!
