Alright so here’s the thing. Jae-hwa is an extremely prideful person to the point where he won’t confess to murder in a trial until he’s been convicted, and voted on. Though, he has this really bad sense of justice, so he was waiting for justice to be passed onto him, because that always happens, right?

Wrong! Wrong! What a fucking idiot he was. No, seriously, Jae-hwa is an actual idiot when it comes to thinking outside of his justice obsessed view.

He found to be extremely more annoyed at Cerys after she had hijacked the trial and led it to a mistrial! At first, he had some respect after she had revealed her talent (while being somewhat in dismay about it, and kinda cautious as well), but then that just died eventually.

Post endgame though… he does admit that Cerys did a noble deed to try and input her part in trying to get a MM trial going with her death, but found it…pathetic. It was, pathetic, and noble at the same time. And he’s probably never going to forget Cerys– but he can’t really forget anything in all honesty.

A summary: He really, really doesn’t care for Cerys and doesn’t give a damn about her– and he’s probably somewhat salty while thankful that she led it to the mistrial since he could get out of this place with Yoshiki. Bro.

Shoko is probably one out of a few people that Jae-hwa would consider as some sort of friend! It’s kind of weird for him to have friends since he’s isolated himself to play games and talk to his corporation teammates once or twice if needed, but hey! Learning experience…

Honestly, at the beginning, he kind of respected her from afar since she was one of the main investigators in the beginning trials. (Though, he really didn’t want to hang out with anyone after the first trial, that’s for sure.) Which that respect kinda grew to being alright with Shoko, especially after finding Monorin? 

After endgame he’s pretty sobered up and just wishes her good luck for the future? Though he probably will not try to keep in touch/be friends with people who he may never meet, or have an unlikely chance of meeting once the group separates after all. :,/ Dammit, Jae-hwa.

To summarize that: He regards Shoko to be a friend but now just has a respect for her since he realizes that he should sever some ties and move on ?? Especially since they’re all going their own paths… clenches fist.

oh god jaehwa is such an asshole when it comes to killers ,,, despite how he’s killed someone (cries). what a hypocrite. he doesn’t like sully for many reasons, such as killing twice in the mutual killing, and killing two people who were pretty innocent seeming (unless they were secretly serial killers. oh god.)

(although at some point jaehwa would probably reflect back on these rly hypocritical feelings and just tsk at them)

he also doesn’t like sully because of their similar sounding voices as well?? it weirds jaehwa out and makes him a bit kinda… well, it goes into a field where jaehwa just doesn’t want to go back to anytime soon. (also this post made me laugh g od. voice pranks...)

oh god jaehwa was terrible at interacting with others, so he probably doesn’t really care about hana?? (which is a sin?? hana is precious) he just kinda knew that she existed at some point, and then died– also that she was a robot?? although, the fact that she was a robot fucked him up a bit during endgame because if she’s a robot… then how did she send some kinda message along with the dead kids?? kinda spooky to him to be honest.
