A lot of people, mostly writers are asking me, anong secret or paano naging successful ang Heโs Into Her story and book? Paano siya sumikat at minahal ng mga mambabasa? At first, it was really, really hard. Totoo yung dugoโt pawis then hindi pa rin siya enough. Writing is already hard na, paano pa yung pasikatin ang story? At ang pinakamahirap ay kung paano mamahalin ng readers yung sinulat mo.
Iโm not perfect. Ang dami kong errors, loopholes, mistakes, cringey lines, clichรฉ scenes and marami pang iba. I even doubted myself kung may kakayahan ba talaga akong makatapos ng story? Kaya ko bang magsulat ng story na tingin ko hindi ko pa nababasa sa iba? At kung yung maisusulat ko ba ay worth reading inspiring talaga?
Ang naging secret ko lang ay TRUST.
I trusted my imperfections. I trusted my letters. I trusted my words. I trusted my sentences. I trusted my fictional characters. I trusted every paragraphs, lines, scenes, plot, plot twists, setting, protagonists and antagonistsโI trusted everything lalo na ang sarili ko. I believed in myself.
Bago kayo tumawa, ako muna. Bago kayo umiyak, ako muna. Bago kayo nasaktan sa pagbabasa, ako muna. Bago kayo kinilig at na-in love, ako muna. ๐
