“Ida, I—” Ida Emean aep Sivney had done it, she had rendered Keira Metz speechless. With nothing but an unexpected compliment on an unexpected topic. To hear Ida speak of her so made a faint pinkness rise on her cheeks. 

But it wasn’t just what she said, it was the way she said it. Keira knew Philippa believed in her, Philippa respected her talents, Philippa had given her immeasurable opportunities. But, deep down, Keira also knew everything Philippa gave her was free, everything she did came at a burdensome price. A price Keira would one day be forced to pay in  a way she feared she would rather not.

Yet Ida offered it freely, her clear knowing eyes asking for nothing in return.

How good of a kisser:

Keira had been hoping for something… a little more from Ida. Attention, obviously, but she’d have settled for anything better than vague disinterest. What could she possibly be reading that was more engaging than she? 

“Ah, and I suppose you intend to continue the trend with me,” she surmised, turning the page, gaze never faltering from the printed words.  It was not an issue of her not being interested in Keira, or even one of being fond of the young sorceress.  No, the issue lay in the fact that the dh’oine made herself into a distraction intentionally, knowing full well what she was doing, as well as the best ways in which to go about it.  While it could doubtless be amusing at times, there were times at which Ida was...disinclined to participate in such games.  

Philippa Eilhart:

HBIC of the pta, of course. Has one kid who is the best at everything. Always makes the most money at fundraisers and, frankly, the principle is scared of her.

Margarita Laux Antille:

A teacher at the school and is actually the best. Unfortunately can’t resist married men and is having an affair with at least one dad.

Triss Merigold:

A great mom! Always does the best braids for her daughters and makes the best cookies at the bake sale. Thinks the pta is genuinely fun.

Keira Metz:

Wears inappropriately revealing clothes to parent teacher meetings. Has to write her kids’ names on the back of her hand to remember them. Honestly doesn’t know how she ended up here.

Sabrina Glevissig:

Is insanely competitive. Her son is the high school quarter back and she literally wont shut up about it. Always wears school colours, even at the weekend.

Sile de Tansarville:

A really smart and successful career mom who takes time to be interested in their kid’s school. But doesn’t really understand why anyone would be proud about selling the most cookies????? (Is secretly competitive about it anyway)

Fringilla Vigo:

Her eldest son went to the rival school and no one trusted her, at first. Has proven herself on numerous occasions. Has a v cute pixie cut.

Assire var Anahid:

Used to be a nerd in high school, really wants these ‘cool’ women to like her. Has lots of cats.

Francesca Findabair:

Super beautiful, basically everyone has a crush on her even if they don’t admit it. Comes from wealth and makes generous donations to the school.

Ida Emean aep Sivney:

Probably too good for the pta. Only here because she’s worried what they might do without her.
