nino and alya are carapace and rena

and they both koew that about each other

and ladybug knows that they know

and ladybug is the one who told the secret

rena and ladybug made a "two-person plan" without him

and he wasn't one of the two

marinette dupain-cheng—a civilian—knew more about the plan

and told him to stay put or he'd ruin it

he spent the whole fight stuck in a bubble and all he did was get in the way

he missed the optigami fight and it didn't matter

he was the problem that caused rocketear

he broke kagami's heart because of all the times he had to lie to keep his cover

ladybug has skipped so many patrols

he's left her so many unanswered messages

she is busy

she is the guardian

he doesn't really know what that entails

she doesn't share those things with him

but one thing the guardian does

is pick the miraculous holders

he is the only holder that she did not pick

(she thinks he's annoying)

(she doesn't need him)

(she doesn't want him)

(he is useless)

(he is a liability)

(he is chat noir)

(and maybe it wouldn't matter to anyone)

(maybe it would even be better)

@carpisuns suggested and I complied.

My two braincells’ thought process: BC#1: what would be Nino’s tail… what could be the tail… BC#2: you could just make it a belt like adrien’s? BC#1: nino would never wear a belt in real life and you know it. BC#2: true, true … What if(!!) the tail was a strap… BC#1: of? BC#2: of a fanny pack? BC#1: 🤔 you know what my shift’s almost over let’s go with that.
