There was a reason Akira didn’t trust strangers. Nevermind all the things that had happened to him in the past, people in this world were just as rotten as they’d always been, and no changes of heart could possibly fix that. So when he’d found the other male had been bothering someone to the point of them looking uncomfortable, he put himself on the line again to intervene. No matter Arsene’s protests, Akira couldn’t just walk away from this.

The moment she’d managed to run from the other male, the stranger turned to him with a fury in his eyes that nearly had Akira regretting his decision. Sometimes things happen for a reason, and he’d interfered with whatever it was fate had planned for the woman.

Nothing to do about it now than make the best of a bad situation.

“ Listen, at best she went with you and what… you get tired of her? A– “ He was cut off as the other practically growled a threat at him. It didn’t deter him in the slightest, he was already in the thick of things. “ At worst, she reports you to the police. Would it kill you to let me fin–” Again he was interrupted, though this time was decidedly less polite than the previous attempt. One moment the other had been a meter from him, the next Akira was dodging backwards with a hand held to his neck, the steadily weeping wound stinging something awful.

It was only practice that would allow him to grasp at his phone and launch the MetaVerse Navigator, already in Kaminashi at the request of Zenkichi to investigate some change of heart situation. The familiar feeling of transitioning between reality and the cognitive world didn’t do him any favors, only the feather light touch of Arsene standing between him and his attacker, and Kohryu pressing his muzzle into Akira’s hand in an attempt to heal the weeping wound.

“ i highly suggest you leave, stranger. one more attack on our trickster, and we may just set you a flame. “ Arsene’s voice came loudly through the area, towering over both figures. Unlike in the real world, where he was barely more than a presence in his user’s mind, here he was a fully formed being. Should this stranger try anything, he would willingly put himself between Akira and his attacker.

Until Kohryu was finished healing their trickster, he couldn’t use any of his abilities to fight. But then the stranger didn’t need to know this.

Heyo, so clearly I have no focus for anything. I have a steam deck and have been fully eaten by nostalgia gaming using emulators, so that is where I have been.

The point of this post is for me to let people know that if you still want to RP with me, as I am always ready to, I just have the attention span of a goldfish. You can either reach out to me here through whatever means ( as it is still linked to my phone and sends me messages ), or you can reach out to me through discord.

Please do not take this to mean that I am abandoning this blog, I refuse to leave entirely and am so happy to answer memes and things on here. I just know that I am easily distracted.

Please note the following when it comes to reaching out to me on Discord:

We must be mutuals on Tumblr. I'm not just going to answer any messages, I am still a selective blog

Send me your username, if you don't I am not going to reply to messages or accept friend requests

Plotting is a must as memes are not really usable on discord, and I'll be discussing thread details with you there probably a lot

I will probably end up making a server so we can talk ooc without confusing if we got a reply or if there is something stupid I want to send you.

Failure to comply with these may mean I drop threads, unfriend or even block and unfollow you. I work a full time job dealing with customers acting like children, I will not do so with a hobby.

He wasn’t embarrassed in the least to have the apothecary’s hand in his, going so far as to give it a quick squeeze. “ I’d say your mother probably didn’t mean it for your… lover, but she probably did. “
