RED ZONES in LotRO

if you’re like me, and like to run into areas of the map that are way too high level for you, some information on what happens when you go into these zones and the laws that govern them would be useful. Information that I cannot find, so I’m putting up a list. Here’s what I have so far based on trial and error (feel free to add)

Aggro+Death:

Mobs aggro onto you from a great distance, probably about their running distance (the obvious one)

You can usually seek solace in a town, but they will follow you in as long as you are within their run range and there are no guards that will kill them.

Death will return you to your milestone, not the nearest revival circle

Travel:

You cannot bind to milestones in red areas.

You can unlock stables, but you cannot ride to them when underleveled. they will display as not unlocked.

Cash shop summoning horns do not work until you have reached the minimum level for an area.

Mythril + Stables can be used to cheat.

(Information needed as to whether normal summoning horns and summoning skills work for transportation in and out of red areas. I’m guessing no.)

Login/Logout

You can log out in a red zone and log back in where you logged out; it will not automatically send you home.

Photos of Bree, with that Forochel fog glitch going on. It made the whole place look kind of like a less watery version of Skyrim’s Riften, in my opinion. Kind of wish I hadn’t logged out of LOTRO after taking these, I’m gonna miss the scenic fog.

Beorning came out on the lotro beta server and I’m so happy bc it actually has the right skin/eye color combination for feran’s genderbend (got the hair wrong here tho) and like a really good body type for his female version too
