        samara’s  completely  oblivious  to the situation that’s risen before her, moments from taking her first taste from the cup that’s warming her hands in the best way. her eyes are quickly darting down to the cup that’s far too close to being stained by her red lip for it tonot actually being her cup, reading the name printed across the back.    ❛ shit, oh-my-god. ❜    there’s a bright laugh that parts her lips, cheeks burning a dark pink as she retracts the cup far away from her, showing that she didn’t destroy the situation completely yet.    ❛ you’re right, my name’s definitely not adyson. m'so sorry, shit. ❜    & her laugh is a nervous one, reaching out to hand the cup back to the now named stranger. 

adyson was oddly enough amused by the way the girl pulled the cup away so suddenly after drinking from it as if it had scolded her tongue. “oh no it’s alright!” they waved it off like it was no big deal even though they worried about having to spend more money on another cup. adyson took the cup as it was passed to them and put it back onto the counter before glancing back at the line that had formed at the register. maybe they’d just get a red bull somewhere instead. “this has actually happened to me before uhm-- don’t worry about it. you can keep it if you want.” 

“adyson then, right ??” he lowly muttered in response, already holding the cup closer to them in an attempt for them to take it. “those fuckers never get anythin’ right in this place.” was lowly grumbled as he made intentional eyecontact with one of the cashiers.

“yeah that’s me.” they took the cup from his hands, their eyes curiously scanning the males face as she listened to him speak. he was clearly more bothered about it than they were. “i might’ve picked up yours by mistake too. here take a look for yourself.” ady held the cup she’d picked up by mistake to him. “is this you?”

vaughn had been doing perfectly fine on his board like usual, coasting down the sidewalk of town when something had seemed to get caught on the wheel. he had a split second to look down and check it out but the wheels had kept moving, sending him tumbling forward off the board. a curse left his lips immediately as his knees and elbows hit the pavement, skidding across. and, conveniently, he’d landed at someone’s feet. vaughn looked up with a painful sigh and quickly attempted to play it off cool with his hand under his chin and hurt elbow propping him up. “hey,” he said through a hurt smile, “you doing alright, love?”

adyson had been up too early for their liking that morning and by afternoon they were crashing. they headed into town for a quick caffeine fix and to do a little bit of window shopping. as they were leaving the coffee shop they witnessed a boy coasting down the sidewalk before rolling off the board, landing him at their feet. glancing down at him they sipped their iced coffee cooly before taking a step back. “shouldn’t i be the one asking if you’re alright? i didn’t just totally eat shit in front of a shit ton of strangers.”
