vulnerable

such a weak word right?

you feel like you lose it all

you feel like it’s a plight.

you were vulnerable once or twice

and people construe that

you were sad, miserable, lost

depressed, in fact.

it’s so normalised that

divulging your real self

has become a crime and now

you purposely have to be stealth.

they’re all lies, i feel

because think about it

the grace of being vulnerable

like an overwhelming pit.

being vulnerable is a strength

for you have the guts

to be this beautiful

to expose without shortcuts.

that is if you trust your person

and they give back to you

show them your yellows and pinks

even your greys and blues.

no, i’m not saying that you wholly

give yourself to them like a property

but please make room for them in you

maybe they just want to add in your glee?

tell them what puts you at ease

tell them what burns you inside out

tell them why you’re obsessed with the sky

tell them why you exceedingly doubt.

at the end of the day,

i hope you find a real home in their arms

and your life

filled with the most beautiful calms.

25. i heard a song, it made me think of you. the song ended, that made me think of you too.

26. i don’t want to forget. i want to be okay with remembering.

27. love. it is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define & impossible to live without.

28. the sun heals me; the moon feels me.

29. the moon stays bright when it doesn’t avoid the night.

30. may your love be modern enough to survive the times, but old-fashioned enough to last forever.

31. love is just stumbling through life with your best friend.

32. i guess there’s nothing more romantic than dying with your friends.

33. it’s strange isn’t it? how your heart burns and burns and suddenly turns into ice.
