Adventures in...

...Miles Avenue. I think this is one of the prettiest streets in Baltimore, in spite of its vacants and drug dealers.

...buses. I think this is where the Remington Walmart was supposed to go.

...the bus lot. Soon to be a Walmart? Maybe not now that the developer has pulled out.

...heading home. We got a little nervous on Falls Road towards the end because there were some downed power lines that looked live (no one they had tried to close the street to traffic). Fortunately, at this point, we were out of the danger zone and on our way up to Maryland Ave.

...a flooded streetcar museum.

...Jones Falls trail. I'd like to note that no one in a car paid attention to thy detour sign... They just kept driving and then had to go through the giant puddles that had formed on the road.

...smells that are only awesome to a dog. It smelled like sewage.

...Falls Road. The water level was so high that water was bubbling up out of the sewer caps. We watched numerous cars drive through the water and a couple of them shorted their batteries. One started smoking after they got through. Don't drive your car into water of an unknown depth!

...Jones Falls Trail.

...the entrance to the Wyman Park trail. This is just off the ball field behind the Greenmount School on Wyman Park Drive, where you have to walk down a very steep hill to get to the trail. The water came up to the top of the hill during the storm.
