A Drifter No One Sees

weird posting on here again but i feel like it’s the only place i can get things outta my head without worrying about who is reading it or judging me. a few months ago i thought my whole world was upside down. i quickly came to realize that living on my own and being my own person was exactly what i needed. i learned so much about myself and about what is important to ME. i found fun in life again and became a happier, more carefree version of myself. and then i met alex. he has shown me that it’s okay to let someone else in. and that it’s okay to be open and honest and question things. it’s okay to take things slow and to move at your own pace. but the most important thing that’s he’s shown me is that someday you will find someone that cares about you just as much as you care about them and it’s the greatest feeling in the world. i had never experienced that until now. i always felt like the person in the relationship that cared the most and loved the hardest and it’s so resfreshing to feel balanced with someone.

kinda wanna just scream at the universe for throwing me a fucking curveball like this. i never imagined things would turn out this way.
