“Really? That sounds like a good way to spend your day.” She nodded as she listened to her friend. She had never had anyone to do things like that with. Not to mention the way she had grown up had been a little different. Not really time for shopping or spa days. But right now it sounded like a really nice change of pace. 

“It’s the best. I’ve only just started the tradition since I moved here, so I’m probably missing some essentials for ‘treat-yo-self’ day,” The witch admitted with a shrug of her shoulders. “But, I figure if it’s things I like, then who cares? With everything that’s been going on, it’s hard to go out and do those things, though.”

“Hmm… I guess after a year? Once it’s hit that point, I feel like a relationship is pretty solid. And - considering I’ve only said those words to family - no.”

Lila nodded agreed as she listened to Adriel. “Agreed, some times it is the sugar for the bitter pill.” The blonde smiled at her friend, she was glad to have met the witch. They didn’t know everything about each other but it still seemed like they were safe in each others company. “How do you go about treating yourself?” 

“Usually, I eat out the whole day, starting with a brunch at the Rockin’ Rolls,” Adriel answered with a smile, pausing for a moment to picture the flaky croissant she usually ordered. “Then, probably go to a nail salon, do some clothes shopping. Oh, and always getting some ice cream. Ahh, just imagining it now is de-stressing me,” she commented as she closed her eyes in a fleeting moment of bliss.

Lila nodded her head. “I’ve been to rock bottom before, what they don’t tell you is that getting back up is a rough climb.” She admitted with a shrug. “But then again my rock bottom involved quitting something.” Lila didn’t much talk about her past, but this, she allowed her friend to see. “Y’know…I’ve never actually been to a spa, but I hear they are real nice.” 

Adriel nodded contemplatively. She wasn’t sure if her situation was her rock bottom. While it was a hard time in her life, the witch had bounced back fairly quickly from being exiled from her home with the help of all those she met in Klamenth Falls, so it didn’t feel like rock bottom. “Neither have I, honestly, but I think anytime is a good time to treat yourself.”
