Robloxia: Content Deleted Masterpost

A setting based off Robloxia, adding some Robloxia lore that's free for the taking, and a bunch of characters trying to survive in an apocalypse. Would really like to make it into a comic, but for now it's just Roblox lore and Roblox OCs.

Starlane Masterpost

Baphomets are one of several Sinborne species, the one native to the region of Sloth, the soft valleys in the otherwise hellish planet of Inferno.

Physically, Baphomets are humanoid and sheep-like (some would argue ram), having woolly hair. Their skin tends to be dark, heavily contrasting with the pastels of their hair. They usually possess horns (more common in men than women, but not exclusive), which most commonly points backwards, but can also resemble that of a ram's.

Baphomets commonly take things slow, tending to not be in a rush, albeit never fully sipping either. Ruled over by Belphegor, Prince of Sloth, the entire region of Sloth has a culture of taking things slow and steady, don't rush, have patience, but never leave things for later either. The most valued aspect in sloth is self-care and proper rest, avoiding burnout the most, albeit Belphegor constantly has to push them to not procrastinate and actually get stuff done, in her best attempts to stop the citizens of sloth from being, well, lazy.

Inspired by the classic Green Man trope, old aliens, and that one YouTube channel of Aliens finding everything on earth cool as fuck.

Zorpians (formerly called Glorpians, please avoid that word, and Glorp as a whole), sometimes shortened to Zorps, are the species native to Terra, one of the Two Earths (with Gaia being the other).

Physically, their skin tends to be different shades of green, from yellowish to teal (bluish) and all others in between the color wheel, though a grassy green is the most common. Their hair tends to be vibrant colors in the red spectrum such as magenta, pink, purple, red itself, and orange as the rarest. They notably lack a nose, and have wide, black eyes. They have antennae, located in their forehead, shaped like thin stems with small soheres at the end, these antennae are theorized to be vestigial as they hold no use.

Zorps have a long story of technological progress, having been the first known species to develop space travel, long before all others. Zorps almost always possess greater capabilities than other species, these being reflected in their flawless technology, leading to many engineers and similar "brainy" workers across the galaxy being Zorpian, more often than that hold physically demanding jobs.

Zorpian culture was entirely lost to time, but is theorized to have always been cold and methodical. As long as the council has existed, they've been absorbed into Human culture, due to both planets becoming nearly inseparable, and Zorpians adopting near every human custom. All records show this wasn't conversion by humans, but rather Zorps strangely integrating themselves into the other planet's culture, and bringing it back to theirs.

Zorps are also recorded to have a higher emotional drive, experiencing emotions stronger than that of the average species. This sometime ends in mood swings, as they can quickly regulate they own emotions to match that of their surroundings too.

I'm gonna continue my Robloxia lore, and I'm gonna state something.

Admins will not be characters. This is a choice because I don't want to involve real people as characters in my story. Very few reals accounts will be mentioned, and only as mythical figures. The only real accounts I can boldly say may be mentioned are as following.

Builderman. Builderman is canonically the "leader", or the head of Roblox HQ within my worldbuilding. He's, in few words, the (non democratically chosen) president of Robloxia. Also a demigod embedded with the power of creation, just like many of the Ancient Admins.

Shedletsky. Better known as Telamon, he's the greatest of the ancients, a legend in the eyes of the average civilian. With merely a gesture of a hand, he was able to raise The Heights, and promoted Swordfighting, one of the most popular sports in all of Robloxia, with tournaments still being regularly hosted in The Heights, Telamon is theorized to still roam, as he sometimes appears in The Heights with a single purpose, demonstrating that he's still the best swordmaster in all of Robloxia. He's also the guardian and creator of the Seven Magic Swords, relics of great power that many swordfighters with to get their hands on, even if just for a brief moment.

Dusekkar. The most powerful of the three admins. While Builderman may be regarded as the leader, and Shedletsky as the greatest, people rarely give Dusekkar credit for being the most powerful of them. Dusekkar holds all the known magic in Robloxia, and having created several of the uses for magic or even spells themselves, Dusekkar was the architect of most of Robloxia, yet is doomed to forever be overshadowed by Telamon and Builderman.

While humans have underwent several lore changes, this is their current lore.

Humans are not much different to their Forgotten Realms counterpart, they're the baseline of the setting, the familiar species the players understand without any exposition to the lore. They have no special ability in regards of other species, however, humans are unanimously know throughout the galactic council for their most unique trait.

Humans can be anything. Humans sit amongst the strongest fighters, the most powerful mages, the most cruel of tyrants, and the most benevolent figures. Humans are entropy and chaos personified, every single concept in existence can be embodied by a human, something not many species can say, as most inhabitants of this galaxy have grown specialized towards a single task, or a group of tasks with similar requirements. Humans are, by far, the most adaptable species known to Starlane, being able to live without any issue in nearly every single planet with a breathable atmosphere.

I guess it's better to be blunt about this. Starlane is not made to support core D&D species or species from other settings such as Eberron or other books. Does this mean you can't play them in Starlane? No, not at all.

Starlane supports an ever so growing catalogue of species, both original and inspired by the media, with some of them having lore regarding their own culture, history and/or homeworld (planet) within Starlane. So while no, I'm not dedicating lore to Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Tieflings, etc, they can very much still exist. Starlane originated as a creative setting for me to worldbuilding and give my friends at my different tables a set of new campaigns to play (within the same setting), and if my players don't like any of the official species for the setting? They can play one from vanilla D&D or another sourcebook, as they can also make up their own species. And my reasoning for this is the following.

1. Only a small section of Starlane is explored and known in the setting, for all we know, if someone wants to play, let's say, a Kenku, we can simply say Kenku of this setting are native to a faraway planet, or a planet that we simply won't be exploring in the campaign. Mainly because I don't want to give lore to every species, some of the official Starlane species don't even have their own homeworld developed because giving lore to EVERYONE is going to be tedious.

2. Custom lineage is still a thing. I'm very much allowing my players to make up their own species if they have a species fantasy they want to play that isn't represented in the setting. If they want to play I don't know, a Quartz from Steven Universe? Well, gems are obviously not an actual thing in Starlane, but that's what custom lineage is for, make up whatever species you want to fulfill a specific fantasy, or just rip off something from a series, it's gonna be specific to your table anyways.

LARRY

"Come and get this!"

Legal name Larry Curtis, son of the deceased Edgar and Linda Curtis. Currently 27 years old, Larry possesses a degree in botany. There's not much to be said about this brute.

TRIVIA

Larry is transmasc.

If he were to be human, he'd be African-American.

Larry has a brother named Barry.

Larry is canonically 6 studs, which would translate to 6ft, in a world where everyone else is 5ft.

Larry is canonically 100kg, though he's not exactly fat, it's mostly muscle. That man is BEEFY.

Larry is canonically dating Benjamin (more on him later).

Larry loves plants.

His dream would be owning a massive garden filled to the brim with pretty flowers.

Despite being a brute, he is also a bit nerdy, if you couldn't tell already.

MR. WALKER

"Goodness gracious!"

Legal name Gaylord Walker, this 66 y/o man had been long a friend of the Curtis family, almost a brother to Edgar, and effectively a family member in the eyes of Larry, to the point the latter is unwilling to leave the old man behind in the apocalypse, no matter if he slows the group down.

TRIVIA

If he were human, he'd be British.

Mr. Walker used to be an estimable fighter during his youth, frequenting The Heights and oftently "pwning" swordfighting novices.

Mr. Walker once held the Venomshank.

Mr. Walker is Widowed.

DOMINIC

No quote.

Full name Dominic Burner. A nusian individual 26 years old. Not much to say about him, again.

TRIVIA

If he were human, he'd be Southern American.

Nusian is the in-world term for Noobs.

Dominic is also transmasc.

Dominic, along with hunter, used to bully Larry in highschool. They get along fine now.

Dominic is dating Hunter.

HUNTER

Legal name Hunter Pwnzor. A guest, ALSO 27 years old. Once again I don't have much to say about him, he and Dominic are just two former bullies who are now friends and sorta just exist.

TRIVIA

Hunter is mute, akin to real guests being unable to chat.

Hunter, and many (if not all) modern guests are actually Pseudoguests, with True Guests being long gone.

Part personal headcanon for Roblox as a world, part written story. I will start sharing some lore first and if this gets some traction I might start writing the story.
