You know in your heart that your belief is flimsy, and isn’t as strong as you would like it to be. He knows that too.

Imagine that Pennywise is circling you like the hungry clown that he is, growling his frustration, and doing everything in his power to whisper in your ear, to convince you to open your eyes.  Claws or hands inches away from you, tracing your shape without actually touching.
