I’ll make you dinner to make it up to you. Anything you want.

You want to make me dinner? Hmm.... okay, yeah. Make me dinner.

"What if I want to continue to be a damsel in distress?" He asks with raised eyebrows as he rubs at his reddened wrist. "Nah. I’m kidding. It’s quite tiring just sitting there without being able to help."

"Oh I bet that was so tiring." She rolls her eyes with a smile, then looks at his wrist. "Jeez, do you need something for that? It looks kind of painful." 

How about dinner?

He shakes his head, biting back a small laugh. “You see what I mean? If my knight in shining armor gets hurt what am I to do? Are you alright though?”

"You don't have to worry about that, because I am just fine. 'Tis but a flesh wound, one might say." She laughs and walks around the desk, squatting beside him and unlocking his handcuffs. "There you go, you're no longer a damsel in distress."

"I’m truly honored and I will forever be in your debt." He chuckles. "Hey be careful alright? Searching for this dumb key will not be an easy task and I wouldn’t want my knight to get hurt."

"Now that's what I like to hear." She smirks and catches sight of a glint beneath the desk. She crawls under it a bit to grab the key. "Please, this knight is way too good at the job to get hurt. I mean I found it alrea- Ow." She sits up too early and hits her head on the edge of the desk, then bursts out laughing. "Shit, that wasn't supposed to happen."

"Hey if it makes someone happy then maybe it’s worth being stuck here. Although a knight in shining armor would be really awesome. I’ve always wanted one of those so to have one is a dream come true."

"You're a cutie. Well in that case, my fair maiden, you don't have to dream any longer. Your knight has come to save you."

He looks up at her in complete surprise from her comment.

She laughs at his look of surprise and shakes her head. "Well that's awful sweet of you, but I doubt you're glad to be stuck there. Is the key somewhere around here? Maybe I can help you find it, be your knight in shining armour." 

Hmm. I’ll keep thinking.

*pouts then pulls him back in* Think about it while we do this.

"I’m totally fine. No broken bones or anything although my pride is a bit bruised. Nothing unusual."

I see no reason why your pride should be bruised. We've all gotten stuck in handcuffs before.... Okay maybe not, but still.
