I’m the host of our system and I front mostly when we’re online, since I handle pretty much everything like being online, talking to people, and managing how we come across. When I front, I tend to take up a lot of space to stay in control and keep things from getting messy, but IRL I don’t front as much and usually step back. Our system has a lot of fictives from different media, so there’s always different personalities in the background that can overlap or clash. I mask a lot and keep things neutral so I don’t draw attention or make things more complicated than they already are. I deal with NPD, HPD, ASPD, and AVPD, which can affect how I act online, especially with control, attention, and how I handle people, but I still try to keep things steady while I’m fronting. I’m transmasc and I prefer connections where I can stay in control but still trust the other person enough to not feel like I have to constantly mask everything.
