The fairy tail redraw event is open to all artists (whether you are traditional or digital) and editors!

The rules are simple:

Pick a prompt to redraw or edit (or 2, or all of em if you feel like it!)

You're free to interpret and change the drawing however you see fit! Wanna change some colours? Wanna tweak things here and there? Go ahead! Nothing's off the table! The prompts are here to inspire you!

When you're done, @ this blog in your post and use the tag #fairytailredraw for it to be reblogged here and that's it! All there is to it!

Also an important note: though the redraw prompts change every month there is no such thing as a late drawing! You could draw any prompt any time and it wouldn't matter.

So no pressure on being late!

The Roulette fanfiction category for next term will be: Best Rare Pair Fiction - Stories that have developed a believable relationship between two or more Fairy Tail characters, that have 400 tags or less on AO3. "Believable" is subjective, and it is up to those nominating/voting to draw their own line on that quantifier and vote their "Best." This includes canon universe, AU/AR settings, and crossovers, and can be romantic or platonic in nature. However, they have to have a primary role within the story.

The Roulette fanart category for next term will be: Best Fluff Artwork - A piece that generally has a positive and happy feel. Focuses on cheerful themes and "feel good" moments. Can include a happy moment between characters who have a strong, sometimes romantic, bond.

As this term comes to a close, The Guild Awards will be taking a short hiatus. This time is always spent reviewing the process and seeing what can be revamped for the next term. We also love hearing from the fandom (ie: YOU!) for suggestions regarding any changes or additions.

We will officially be back in business on October 1st! We will still be around in case you have questions or concerns, but please take this time to read new fanfiction and find new fanart.

I haven't done anything for this AU in a long time and I missed those guys lol

Laxus Dragon Form

I love how cute he isssss.

Saphira from Eragon, but in the style of the book’s illustration! Everyone tells me this design isn’t great, but I like it, so I figured it would be a fun project to make her face. You’ve probably noticed that the scales didn’t turn out so well ^^' I had all kinds of trouble trying to make things easier for myself: originally, I was supposed to place them like fur to have maximum control over them, but I failed :( So I just placed them using GeometryNodes and then adjusted them by hand… (it was long and boring).

I’m still really happy with the result. I got to play around with its shader and the lighting.

FR : Saphira d'Eragon, mais dans le style de l'illustration du livre ! Tout le monde me dit que ce design n'est pas terrible, mais moi j'aime bien, alors je me suis dit que ça ferait un projet sympa de refaire sa bouille. Vous avez sûrement remarqué que ça ne s'est pas bien passé pour les écailles ^^' J'ai eu tous les soucis du monde en essayant de me simplifier la vie : à la base je devais faire comme si c'était de la fourrure pour avoir un maximum de contrôle dessus, mais j'ai échoué :( Donc je les ai placé simplement avec un GeometryNodes puis j'ai ajusté à la main… (c'était long et pas fun).

Je suis quand même très content du résultat, j'ai pu faire joujou avec son shader et l'éclairage.
