Some things I wanna make clear because I’m seeing some said repeatedly in the reblogs:

- I’m no longer friends with Friend 2 and I haven’t been for a while, at least couple months. Most of my friend group cut off contact with him too (including Friend 1) after many situations that just made him look creepy, including not being able to set any boundaries (most tries ended up with him throwing a tantrum)

- a big chunk of people is suggesting polyamory in the reblogs, but I wouldn’t expect him to get even one gf, let alone two, given how he finds scared women hot and his favorite trope is “reversed mommy” situation (punishing the woman for dominating you)

- lots of people are also suggesting it’s an egg kinda situation, and I obviously can’t say yes or no to that, but I wanna mention how he once said he wouldn’t mind bottoming for a trans girl and how it’s one of the reasons he considers himself bi. Do with that info what you want

- Friend 1 is trans. Also we’re friends to this day and I love hanging out with her, she’s a diva

thank god theres simpler ttrpgs out there i think otherwise i'd just never engage with the format at all if it all was just "read a trillion words of rules and try to remember how you're supposed to bend them" instead of "reading and applying rules you can just remember as is"

if someone was actually hurt by the trans woman's actions, you certainly aren't helping them by trying to ruin her life. you aren't going to convince her to get better because chances are she already has made efforts to improve and you're just digging up old shit that was resolved years ago. and it will always ALWAYS invite more harassment, give twerfs and transmisogynists even more of a reason to harass and abuse her (not that they even need a reason in the first place, they love telling us to kill ourselves for simply existing), and socially isolate a woman of an already very isolated and very targeted demographic. you are not helping anyone. you are a hate mob putting more suffering and abuse into the world. this isn't even "an eye for an eye" anymore, this is just straight up killing someone because they breathed wrong.

and that is all in the 00.0001% of scenarios where a trans woman maybe might have done a faux pas. in every other scenario, you are blatantly trying to ruin someone's life because she exists.

Something I notice is, when men discuss the manosphere, they either centre the reason boys fall down that pipeline on some inner weakness or defectiveness of the boy, ie. "they're just autistic weirdos who want rules for women because they can't get their dick wet," or they centre the reason on women, "feminism had made women too woke, mean and impossible to socialise with."

What I noticed while working is that every single little Tate goblin I had to work with had conservative parents, and I have never once seen that aspect of all this discussed. Boys will reflect the social norms they are raised in within their household. The biggest preventative for manosphere bullshit I saw in the boys I worked with was a dad who isn't a fuckwit and a household that isn't LARPing the 1960s.
