He blinked his eyes a couple of times, hoping beyond hope that this would clear his vision. He could hear Lisbon anxiously waiting by the door to the bullpen. His face fell as her figure did not come into view. What he wouldn’t give to be able to see again, to see her again. But there was nothing. He felt his couch droop as she sank down next to him.“Are you okay?”“Still can’t see. Other than that I’m peachy” Lisbon placed a hand on his arm and rubbed it gently “I’m sorry”“Not your fault” he tried to raise his mask again. If there was anything that Jane was good at it was pretending he was okay.She cocked her head to the side, not quite sure how he was going to react to her next question, it might make him feel even weaker and helpless “Do you want to come back to my place this evening?”“That’s a very nice offer Teresa, I’m flattered” he smiled in her general direction.“Hush” she slapped him on the shoulder “Not like that. Just you can’t drive anywhere, you need someone to look after you”Jane’s smile slipped a little but he nodded “Thank you, Lisbon”

“How often do you have sex?” Hennings asked, causing Jane and Lisbon to snap their heads at the host. “I assume, as a couple, you have sex? How often?”

“Why?” Jane blinked.

“We’re back on Prescription For Love with Buddy Hennings, the Love Doctor! We’re here with another couple: Teresa and Patrick!” Van Pelt heard through the car radio. She looked over at Rigsby, who was smiling stupidly at her.

“This is wrong,” Grace told him.

“Lighten up, will you?” Rigsby said. “It’s not real, Grace. It’s all a ruse.”

Van Pelt’s reply was drowned out by Buddy Hennings’ voice. She rolled her eyes at Rigsby and burrowed herself down in the driver’s seat.

“So, I understand that you two have some unresolved issues between you? No communication?” Buddy asked Jane and Lisbon.

I wanted to thank anyone who follows this blog. I now have 250 of you! I tried to think of something creative to do for you for this, but I don’t have any ideas. But please take my thanks!  I am beginning to learn that it is not the quantity you get, but the quality you put out. And I try my best. Thank you all for sticking with this blog. A lot of you keep saying I am keeping TM alive, but you guys are. You are the idea makers. I just put your idea to screen. Hell, anyone can do that. So thank you for keeping it alive in my heart. 

 I’ve actually picked up quite a bit of learning writing wise since I made this blog, and I can’t complain. It’s made me a better writer, and I enjoy it more. I hope to still be doing prompts until my will to do them stops. The world of Jane adn Lisbon, their kid, and the team will never die. 50 years from now, we will look back and say, “Damn. That Mentalist sure was a good show. And the lead actors were hot” before we croak.
