First and foremost, happy belated birthday! Secondly, celebrating America's Birthday as a native definitely has become one of my favorite holidays. Especially getting to see your kids enjoy the holiday. Seeing the enjoyment in their eyes when the fireworks blast off and dazzle the night sky is so fun. That and them getting all decorative for the festivities. Do you do anything special for the holiday with the family?

Thank you! It is a joy like no other. Especially when they see the fireworks for the first time, like you said. Then they start expecting fireworks all the time you know? It’s adorable. I don’t know about you but my girls clapped each and every time. Nothing that special, just hung out with my LA friends. My siblings are scattered around the country so we didn’t jump on a plane or anything this year. But sometimes quite lowkey nights are better.

sounds like you had quite the eventful holiday. did your daughters finally settle from their sugar high, or have they kept going? i understand what you mean about being able to sleep for a week straight. i had a small break from filming before i had to jump back on a plane and get back to work. there truly is no rest for the wicked.

luckily they gave me a break. I think the sugar rush made them crash just as quickly. but that’s nice that you were able to have a break between filming. no matter how small, I bet it felt nice to sleep in your own bed and not live out of a suitcase for a little bit.

A lot of people have been coming up to me on the street and telling me that they loved me in this or that. Most often than not, there's some that tell me that when I was on Supernatural as Claire, I helped them in so many ways. Makes me feel good inside. Anyway, what's your guys' favorite roles or projects that you've worked on, something that made you feel like you were actually making a difference in someone's life? @hfrpstarters

Wow, that’s awesome. Was working with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman on Big Little Lies fun? I loved that show so I can’t imagine how it was to film it. I did a movie with Al Pacino once. Probably a highlight of my career. Also when I was little, I toured with a production of Annie, and got to meet all kinds of other kids from around the city. It was really cool, especially for like a 11 year old at the time.
