the doctor and donna as aziraphale and crowley DW the fires of pompeii x GO noah's arch
'We are getting out of here. "Well, I might just have something to say about that, Angel. 'Oh, I bet you will.'
∟ we go together you and I - Tate and Tennant on BBC Breakfast (2011)
I: You can’t stay apart? D: We can’t, no. C: We tried.
I feel like this might be an unpopular opinion, but RTD naming Donna's daughter after you know who never sat right with me. it was one thing if he named her after someone who was special to both Ten AND Donna, but no. we're talking about a woman who set Donna up to die in an alternate universe. (as @raywritesthings once said: it was an alternate universe, yes, but it wasn't an alternate Donna who lived it). was it for the good of all? sure. but still. and that same woman didn't even bother to offer Donna any compassion in her last moments.
I'm just saying, if RTD really wanted to name her after someone special to the Doctor, he could have chose "Susan" (their actual granddaughter) or anyone else, but he chose the name of someone he believes is the Doctor's "love."
thinking about whatever happened to Americons again...
Posting two versions of the colors 😊
I saw this reference and I had to draw it:

quite-an-enigma requested: The 12th Doctor and Donna interacting/arguing/general sass? [as if her memory was neeeever wiped away :)]
BEATRICE
Ask Game!
1. What's your blog title from?
- I used to make character edits and I was a big fan of Addison Montgomery, so when I started posting my edits, I wanted a blog title that had her name but could also refer to other female fictional characters.
2. What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?
- I recently watched a queer all-female lead film called "Open Endings" (it's still currently showing in cinemas and soon will be available digitally)! it was a whirlwind, a bit of a fast-paced story, but it was good, and the chemistry between the lead four was amazing.
3. what are you looking forward to right now?
- I'm returning to college after a long mental health break, so I'm hoping the program applied for accepts me, and I really hope that the next few years won't be too mentally taxing on me.
4. if you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
- I'd really love to watch "Queen of Oz" but I can't find it on any of the streaming sites that I know of.
5. What's your drink of choice? (Coffee/tea order, alcohol of choice, pop, etc)
- it honestly depends on my mood or my budget. most of the time, it's just cold water, but when I can treat myself, I absolutely love mango iced tea and diet soda. as for alcohol, I'm good with a nice apple flavored beer.
6. What's your hair routine like? Anything special?
- I wash my hair two times a week, sometimes more if I'm booked for a project or when I travel, nothing special.
7. what's your favourite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you want to experience?
- I love to travel by car or by train. there's just something so soothing about how they move. technically, I've been on boats, but I want to experience being on a ship or a yacht.
8. favourite month of the year and why?
- December because it has the longest holiday vacation time of the year.
9. favourite time of day and why?
- night. there's something so comforting about it, I don't know why.
10. do you play or follow any sports? & elaborate on that?
- I'm not much of a sports fan, but I used to compete in volleyball for our school. I really didn't have much of a choice then because there weren't a lot of girls who wanted to try it. I haven't played in years but I did eventually learn to love the sport during training. I'd love to play again.
11. what kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately?
- classic love songs and disco music. Boogie Wonderland has been stuck in my mind in particular since seeing that scene of Catherine in The Office.
12. dishes or laundry?
- depends on the day.
13. what's something you learned recently?
- I've been learning about Shakespeare since I auditioned for Much Ado.
14. if you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?
- the importance of prioritizing one's mental health.
15. What's a piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
- "stop borrowing worries from tomorrow." do I listen to myself, though? only sometimes.
16. what's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?
- explore, enjoy your youth. find something that makes you want to live.
17. do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any lucky rules?
- my superstitions come less from superstition itself and more from my anxiety. as for lucky items, sometimes I can't let go of coins when there's smudges on them. rules, well, that depends on whatever my mind comes up with.
18. Are you musical? Play any instruments or sing? Would you ever perform for an audience?
- I am, a bit. I can sing and I've been in a musical. I would say that I'm more of an actor than a singer, though.
19. Write, type, or speak?
- it depends. sometimes I'm too tired to speak and sometimes I'm too tired to write and/or type.
20. what do you wish someone would ask you?
- anything (within reason)
thank you to the brilliant @love-in-the-time for tagging me 🤍 I tag @ccsbellgirl @divinenanny @officially-kk @darlingwrecks and @jaddison! whoever wants to as well is free to do so. i hope you're all well. much love to everyone!
one of the things I like about the Big Finish audios is how it blatantly disregards the "no nonsense" thing. like, what do you mean River immediately clocked that Ten missed Donna and her being gone is what made him so reckless? no man good enough for my Donna? the only happy ending for Donna is if it's with the Doctor? Ten/Donna fake marriage? the unnecessary smooches? Donna calling him the love of her life then realizing in real time that he actually is?
"No man is ever going to be good enough for my Donna"
SIR 😭
and then there's "...or Time Lord."
you're not fooling anyone, Spaceman. 😭
I understand everyone's frustration and that we all have different favorite eras and Doctor/Companion duos. what I don't get is the hate Catherine and David get for simply being in the show. it was one thing if they were terrible actors, but they're not, and it's not their fault that they were casted in the first place or was asked to come back. they're actors. yes, sometimes their influence can dissuade or inspire the writers, but at the end of the day, the person that stirs the direction where the show is going is the show runner. saying that they're the reason why the show was cancelled or that they "ruined" it is totally uncalled for.

the most realistic thing about Doctor Who and Much Ado About Nothing is how men fall over trying to impress and appease Catherine Tate.
