This website provides tips and everything you need to know about cyberbullying.  It really provides necessary information and resources if your are your child is being cyberbullied.  It is a very useful sight and provides answers to most of the questions related to cyberbullying.

Stop Cyber bullying!!

This article is a really good article of how Nicole, whom was being bullied and threatened with physical attacks got even.  Instead of reacting to the threats from them, she decided to start publicly at schools about her experience with cyberbullying.  Although the threats did not come to a complete stop, it did help to minimize them.

Should parents of bullies be held accountable? Or should the social media site be held accountable? Or both? I think the parents should be held accountable for the child's actions. I know that this topic is debatable because some say the parents should not be held accountable if the parents did not know that the child was doing this.

This is the question an article in the Week in Review asks about the Tyler Clementi case. “Just how culpable is an online bully in someone’s decision to end a life?” the article asks. Do you know about this case, and the Phoebe Prince case earlier this year? How tough should the punishment be for those who cyberbullied these students? Why? How do you think incidents like these could be prevented in the first place?  

This article explains that Tumblr’s mental health communities seem to be filling in the gaps for healthcare in the US by providing support, information and actual help from clinicians.  If a user searches for a word such as depression, they are met by a ,message headlined “Is Everything Okay? With links to crisis intervention programs.  I think it is great a social media site offers this and I think more social media sites should as well.

The surprising thing to note is that bullies who victimized other students were just as likely to attempt suicide as their victims were.  Clearly, the bullies are suffering from problems as well.
