Progressive business commentary for the open minded
My business life has been about trying new things - about seeing the space to be more inventive, more innovative, to take risks so that we can truly make exciting progress.
At Williams F1 that was about hybrid energy, about proving that green can be a real option for racing. Environmental evolution at F1 reflected the evolution I would make in my investments. Don't be scared of new ideas: Cosworth Engineering pioneer innovation, QuantumBlack use data to help businesses evolve. And the biggest task for me right now: Walk Free, the movement to end modern slavery. People are quick to tell me, to tell all of us, that slavery is inevitable and we can't change it.
Those people are wrong. The world changes all the time - and businesses are sometimes the worst at seeing how they should be changing with it. So scared of losing our place that we stay still when we really need to be moving faster.
This blog will provide commentary on the business world for people with broad horizons: my thoughts investments and intersectionality in the fields of technology, business, ethics and finance.
