The real Leia would firstly tell incompetent Luke to go home or find something safer to do and not by yelling at him or insulting him, but by informing him in a professional manner that she has evaluated that it would be best for him to sit this one out.

She was a princess for God-sake and a member of the imperial senate, she wasn't just yelling about like an incompetent uncultured fool. She was poised and regal, even when she was insulting imperials, she wasn't kicking and screaming, that's unnecessary and she only kicked and screamed if the situation called for it, she kept her cool A LOT, even more than her allies at many points.

The real Leia did have anger for Anakin but she also had complicated feelings that she eventually came to terms with, she did eventually consider herself as a Skywalker just as much as she was an Organa because she's not dumb enough to think that doing that was an insult to her adopted parents, she's not a moron or a person with such an immature view of family.

The real Leia wasn't always angry and overly sarcastic or short with people (figuratively), she was kind, compassionate and could emphasize with people. She was passionate and stubborn and virtuous.

I've said before that Leia is a forest fire because she is but she's not just that (obviously) but it feels like people only value that part of her personality.

I'm starting to realize in general that people seem to mischaracterize their parents and flanderize the kids. Including flanderize or minimise the importance of the adopted parents/guardians.

Luke is just an infantilized sweetie pie who is completely incompetent, he is either babied by Leia or babied by Han.

Leia is an angry girlboss, who constantly has to fight and defend her position while being a pseudo mom for Luke because for some reason Luke needs to be dumbed down to prove how great she is even though people already recognise her greatness just fine.

Padmé was in it for the sex, hated her relationship with Anakin and was fiercely loyal to the senate. Incompetent, gullible and weak.

Anakin was a dictator since he was nine, he was always bad, was always a danger to everyone around him and should have been put down more by everybody he ever met and never shown love, compassion or understanding because he went from bad to worse.

Uncle Owen was always beefing with Luke and didn't care for him or his safety at all.

Bail and Breha ALWAYS got it right and were completely and utterly perfect in everything they do, no matter what. And the only good parents in all of star wars.
