Oh my gosh I can’t believe people still think about my work! Thank you so much!

So there’s a multi-faceted answer to this, but it boils down to this. Time and mental health.

A lot of things changed in my life since my last update, including my housing and income situation. I essentially went from working a job that allowed enough downtime for me to work on GM throughout the day to a job with very little downtime. I’ve since stopped working at that job.

I also went through a lot of lifestyle changes (I left my fiancé, moved three times, new mental diagnosis, as well as going through the gauntlet of doctors to figure out what’s wrong with me) and it left me with very little energy to draw. (The last thing I’ve drawn was in August of 2025, and February of 2025 beforehand)

All of this to say: I’ve been through the wringer since 2024. But I never want to abandon Ghoul Mates. It’s on hiatus. And now that I’m about to start another job that will have downtime similar to the job I had when I started Ghoul Mates, and my mental health improving, I’m hoping to begin working on it again!!

Ghoul Mates is a story that’s still dear to my heart. And it will be coming back, now that I’m going to be getting help with it! I can’t give a specific date just yet, but god I hope this year 😭
