Arrived in Oslo late Tuesday afternoon: checked into @amerikalinjen hotel, walked over to @kokoslo.no floating sauna, and explored the area around the opera house, library and @munchmuseum.

Day 2 in Oslo: great morning walking tour and sightseeing, contemporary art, shopping, coffee, more walking, wishing I could be in Oslo in January for Sondre Lerche, one of my fave artists

Day 3 in Norway was a full travel day, crossing the Arctic Circle. Flew from Oslo to Bodø, where I had five hours to explore until it was time to take the ferry to Nordskot. Found matcha and good food for lunch, then went to the City Museum, which had a great exhibit focusing on Sami art and culture. Ferry ride was a little rough but once we got to Nordskot, a small group of us got picked up for another boat ride (only five minutes this time) for our final destination of Manshausen. This stay is sure to be a highlight of my trip. Will wait to take some better photos in daylight tomorrow!

Days 4 and 5 in Norway: Manshausen

Finally finished the @petiteknit Lulu Slipover. I love it! The pattern calls for a mock turtleneck but I opted for a crewneck instead. I used handmade buttons from my @barrowpdx ceramic stud earrings class. The weather is hot here right now, but hopefully there will be some cool days soon so I can wear this.

Here are my finished ceramic stud earrings from the @barrowpdx @wildcraftstudio class. It was so fun and satisfying seeing everyone's completed earrings. Lots of creativity and inspiration. The photos include the fired and glazed earrings without posts, the buttons for my vest (will post those photos later), the earrings with glaze, and the earrings after polishing and before glazing. Highly recommend this class. It's on the fall calendar!

Rainy day in Seattle: spent the late morning at a French macaron class @thepastryproject_ then had an excellent lunch @kiligseattle in the international district.
